Visited the new tennis facility in Manhattan, KS today: 8 courts open to the public at no cost! Why can't #LNK do the same?

Listening to the Agassi audio book on recent drives and got to the 1995 Becker match at the US Open. Great serve return! Becker's tongue direction was straight: body serve youtu.be/z7-RkLfXCfA?...

K-State band welcomes new faculty with the fight song: youtu.be/RkY3L7wtS8Y?.... It got a little awkward after this when the Wabash Cannonball was played and no new faculty knew to move to the song.

#OTD 1840 Carroll D Wright b (d 20 Feb 1909) 5th ASA President 1897-1909. In 1908 he has the first annual ASA meeting outside Washington or Boston (Atlantic City) & initiates the yearly ASA President address where he spells out why ASA changed its name from ‘Society’ to ‘Association’. LilK and I practiced tennis today at my high school alma mater Millard South. The courts are open to the public and in great shape. #LNK public schools could learn from this if they want to encourage more of their students to play tennis.

LilC is playing bball for Southeast this summer. Against Westside yesterday, he played at the 5 (natural position is at the 3) and was matched up sometimes against Westside's 6'8" Creighton 2027 recruit. This player couldn't drive past LilC, but nothing could be done about his fade away jumper.
