this is just a semantic you seem to see any form of conservation as rewilding, for me it means landscape scale projects with true apex predators and large herbivores. People leaving a patch of weeds in thhe garden is great, but for me isnt rewilding.

I think in the cairngormes it's a term thst makes sense....I see councils claiming they are rewilding part of the park, or a school rewilding a corner of the school field.
