Pair this Seer's Sundial and turn your Landfall to card draw. This could be a fun Colourless Commander.

🖕 😠 🖕 How about you get to work on what really matters for the people you're meant to be serving? I don't mean your donors and cryto bros.

New favourite "lock down a creature card" from the #Hobbit set in #Magic. Would love it if it had flash or could enchant an artifact as well, but pretty damn good for 3 mana. The counter removal is unique compared to other alternatives. Makes it more of a permanent reset for some situations.

Time to build a Jeskai Gandalf deck, if only so I can say: "You cannot pass. I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. You cannot pass. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udûn. Go back to the Shadow! You cannot pass."

World Cup Friday vibes. I’m an England and Portugal fan because of my heritage but let’s go Aussies.

New Commanders. Who this? Really looking forward ton playing Muddle honestly. I don’t play a lot of spell slinger decks but this one is definitely focused on combat.

3 Magic: the Gathering commander cards on a desk. Muddle, the Ever-Changing, Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful, and Jeska, Thrice Reborn.

Goldfishing Muddle, the Ever-Changing, and just realised if I cast Twinflame Tyrant, then cast something like Twinflame, targeting Muddle, I can then have Muddle become a copy of the Twinflame Tyrant with Myriad, before Twinflame resolves. This creates another copy of TT with Haste and Myriad.

My last spellslinger #commander was Alela, Cunning Conqueror, which was fun and had lots of faerie synergy, but I always found it hard to finish out games. Maybe I should have leaned into an Aristocrat playstyle with it, but that has never been my jam. We'll see how Muddle does.

Always loved spellslinger decks in #commander, but I'm also a Timmy at heart and love swinging creatures. Going to give this cute boi a try. It'll also be my first Izzet commander. Will feel weird not having any white for a change. That tends to be my crutch.

I have the strong desire to build a Jeska, Thrice Reborn deck, but not sure who to partner with. I want to go Boros, because white is my favourite colour, but I don't think I want to go the Yoshimaru route. I feel like Kediss has to be in there as well as the secret commander. 🤔

Finally took my thumb out and built a new Blink / Airbend Commander deck with Aang, at the Crossroads at the helm. Goldfishing has been janky, but I think it'll be fun to play. Can't wait until Thursday to test it out for real. It's all about blinking Aang to cheat out value creatures.

Obiligatory Ranni cutscene screenshot for this playthrough of Elden Ring. Will complete this questline and ending, even though it is bittersweet. Blaidd and Iji are best bois, and Ranni is my Dark Moon Princess.

Watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves tonight with the boy for the first time in well over 20 - 25 years. Alan Rickman was a gem, and is sorely missed. So many good one liners in that movie all around though.

Obuun, Wilhelt, Ranar, then converted Wilhelt into a Scarab God deck instead. I'm now drawn more towards Bant, Naya and Boros commanders exclusively

My favourite of these are Utter Insignificance and Amphibian Downpour because they both have Flash. Amphibian Downpour is especially good because you can hit quite a few targets if an opponent is casting a lot of spells on their turn.
