@wario64.bsky.social comes through again! I've been trying to get one for months! Finally snagged one! Wario's been helping me for years snag some hard to get hardware and games. Appreciate his work.

So many games coming out in the next few months. I think I'm most excited for the following: -Nivalis Nights (technically, came out yesterday) -Galactic Racer -OoT Remake -Gears E-Day -GTA 6 Obviously GTA6 is the biggest release, but I hope it doesn't impact smaller releases/studios.

Regardless of your profession, you're bound to expereince some level of stress. Be sure to take time for self-care both at work and at home to maintain your mental health. Even just walking away from your desk for a quick breather can go a long way.

I have to say, mobile gaming has drastically improved the last 5 years or so, IMO. A lot of great games have released on mobile giving gamers more ways to play on the go. Mobile gaming has greatly benefited from more capable phones. I just wish screen sizes were a tad bigger (not foldable).

Nintendo should really make a Brain Age game/app for mobile. It seems like the perfect platform and I think a lot of people would use it.

This was a great read. It really goes to show that you really don't know how well someone is doing unlike you tale the time to check-in with them. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health challenges and/or feel unsafe, please reach out to the national crisis hotline at 988.

I've only put in a little over 7 hours into Warframe, but I'm having a lot of fun and the game is so polished. It's unlike a lot of the other games I've played. Compared to other F2P games, Warframe feels balanced and I don't feel forced to spend money, although I've spent only $5 so far for a

Is Capcom the most consistent developer of the last decade or more? It seems all the games they've released have scored well and the quality always seems high. Nintendo has great games, but other than Mario and Zelda, I don't think their other properties

Chris Lee @chris-lee.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I've been trying to find an mmo game to play and re-downloaded Warframe. This time around, the game has clicked with me. Maybe because I've been playing on a big tv (instead of on mobile or in handheld mode), hi Bixby oh yeah, I don't even worry about it. The game looks great on Switch 2, but more

Yesterday, my 2 year-old was at the play area at the mall, and runs to me so I can help him get his mini monster truck out of his pocket so he can roll it down the slide like the other kid. For a split second, it reminded me of 4th grade when the kids got out their slammers to play pogs together.

Chris Lee @chris-lee.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I appreciate Nintendo announcing games shortly before they release it since the likelihood of any delays is low and gets me excited to play the game. Announcing a game years in advance (*ES6*) doesn't really excite people because they know the game is far off from release, and likely to get delayed.

One issue I see with collecting physical these days, is that unless there is a physical "definitive"version of a game that includes all updates and DLC, you are not getting the best version of a game, which could be a challenge if you want to update it, if servers are no longer active decades

100

Chris Lee @chris-lee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

One thing I miss, and something that was a sign of things to come, were "Ultimate" or "GOTY" physical releases. Games that came with the base game and included all DLC and updates, so that the definitive version of the game was on the disc. Last game I saw this was for Cyberpunk 2077.

Took my toddler to the Aquarium and he had fun. In the parking lot, though, he threw an epic tantrum and would not get in his car seat. Not exaggerating, took me 1 hour to get him in his car seat. He would not sit down and just kept his body stiff. So frustrating, draining and embarrassing.

Decided to set up DDR for PS2. Still hard as hell, but you have to appreciate its historical significance and influence in gaming. Listening to the old Euro tracks definitely takes me back to the late 90s, early 2000s.

I wonder if now should be a good time to jump back in. I've only put about 60 hours into WoW (I'm still relatively new), but it seems like there is a lot of new content. I may check it out. The housing content seems like it could be a lot of fun, too.

I'm fine waiting a few years for Steam Deck 2 if it will be significantly more powerful. Incremental improvements make it hard go justify paying full price for a new system. 2TB storage should be standard , though, given the size of newer games. Love my current Steam Deck.
