Islamist terrorism in Germany so far has targeted Jews, not queer events, and even then a large majority of anti-Semitic terrorism is extreme right, not Islamist or extreme left (which two are not the same - Islamists think China is committing genocide in Xinjiang, left anti-Semites don't).

I tend to get dogpiled every time I say this but: as someone *who likes bluesky and benefits from being here* we have a problem. The network is shrinking, not growing. It's shrinking a lot: only about 1.1m people a day even like a post. This time last year it was 1.6m.

Unique daily likers as a graph over the last year. It's down from about 1.6 million a day a year ago to 1.1 million a day now.

Mystery solved - its the difference between ggplot2 v.3.5.2 and 4.0.0 that causes it. The new mystery is why my company managed computer does install the newest version of ggplot2 when I install tidyverse.

#rstats: Is there any ggplot2 extension (or trick with ggfx / grid) that can render lines with a hand-drawn or brush-stroke effect? I’m trying to get something that looks more organic than a standard geom_line().
