I built my own project management UI on top of Obsidian and GitHub. Claude Code works on the underlying files. I can reshape it while I work. Adding features, restructuring views, adjusting workflows at any time. We might could call it "fluent tools".

I'm preparing workshops for 2026. Claude Code with Opus 4.5 for organization, elaboration and documentation. The tool has access to my Obsidian vault and creates knowledge documents. Existing foundational knowledge flows in, gets linked and extended. Serious amplification of my work.

Ich habe Claude Opus 4.5 beauftragt den Wikidata-Anreicherungsprozess für den User nachvollziehbar zu machen. Man sieht welche Personen gerade abgefragt werden und am Ende eine Zusammenfassung was gefunden wurde. Wir können aus dem Kontext des Tools sinnvolle UI Elemente ableiten.

Die Chronik zeigt jetzt einen vertikalen Zeitstrahl aller Briefe. Neu ist die Wikidata-Anreicherung. Man kann Personen mit Wikidata verknüpfen und bekommt dann Portraits, Lebensdaten und Berufsbezeichnungen direkt in der Timeline angezeigt.

Hier sieht man eine neue Übersichtsansicht. Sie gibt einem einen Überblick über den Datenbestand und spricht Empfehlungen aus welche Ansichten sinnvoll sind. Wenn es zum Beispiel keine Koordinaten gibt ist eine Kartenansicht nicht sinnvoll. Das ist der Anfang eines adaptiven Interfaces.

Claude Sonnet 4.5 outperforms Opus 4.1 for coding/agentic tasks - working autonomously up to 30 hours! It recreated my entire Obsidian Vault dashboard from screenshots on first attempt using my Promptotyping technique. Exponential AI coding growth from spring to autumn 2025.

Spent the last days at a stained glass/metadata/AI workshop in Münster. Never touched stained glass before but loved the nerdy discussions - from flowers blocking church photography to heritage at risk from demolitions. DH projects are complex and need domain-specific solutions.

o3-pro (OpenAI, $200 tier) solved a Middle High German encoding issue by retrieving correct text from a webpage during inference - demonstrating how frontier models are becoming agentic systems that address some of their own limitations. While expensive, they excel at complex specialized tasks.

On my #DayofDH2024, I'm about to finalise my dissertation. I think it's 91.75% finished ;) It's about modelling, operationalising and exploring historical information in information systems, using historical financial records as example It's a bit like an 'autobiography' of 8 years of DH work.
