I'm going to be completely overdressed for GCAP today so I don't have to go home and change for the AGDAs. But this allows me to fit a Red Bull in my suit pocket

Nice work! If I could offer a small bit of advice, I'd recommend sculpting your transfer mesh in line with the dress, rather than the body. This way when you transfer weights, it'll be closer to the deformation of the clothing. Lowering the transfer mesh res might help make skin tweaks easier too!

I may see myself as a Solo Developer but at some point there’s just simply too much to do! I need some help! #IndieDev #GameDeveloper #UIArt #GameArt Also happy to take expressions of interest for the future, especially from producers, social & production support!

He's the first pet that has interaction with a hero skin, and also the first pet to use the newest iteration (v3) of my rigging framework. The Mr Bigglesworth pet is now available in patch 36.6 of Hearthstone! All footage shown was captured in the game engine.

Beware of cute cats, they might have laser eyes. Mr Bigglesworth is now available in Hearthstone! They are the ninth pet in the game, continuing my rigging work for Superseed Studios in collaboration with the team at Blizzard

Two digi-doubles running towards each other, I'm gathering because there was no way to get the plate footage on the sound stage (Or the actors didn't feel like running)? Tech anim did most of the work selling them with the simulation on top too. Can you guess what film it was?

We've all got to start somewhere right? Ten years ago I was starting my first day at MPC London (RIP), and these were the first two rigs I worked on there. Blink and you'd have missed them.

After nearly 8 years of living in Melbourne and rarely venturing outside the city and suburbia, I've purchased a used car. I'd like to see more of the state of Victoria, particularly out in the country. Any good recommendations for places to go on day trips or extended drives?

Earlier this year I rigged a cartoon octopus and chicken for Equip Super's "Super Equipped" commercial campaign. I've put together a little rigging reel for the project, showcasing their action behind-the-scenes and breaking down their unique features

Shoutout to Pixel Melbourne and Lumberfly for getting me on board the project, and for being amazing to work with. They have their own behind-the-scenes reels for the campaign, you should check them out too!

With a tight production schedule, I aimed to strike the right balance of control and detail coupled with ease-of-use and automation. Always an important factor when animating 8 tentacles at once, or a character covered in 30,596 feathers

Robbie Reid the Rigger @chowgood.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Both rigs were completely bespoke and built using my custom Maya rigging framework. They were rapidly prototyped and updated as the character designs and project requirements evolved. As always, all my rigging work and code is 100% human made

Do you have any specifics for work you can apply for? IE: Must be within a certain country or state, must be remote, must be in games, etc. Just so I know what's appropriate to forward to you if I see any come up

It was a neat little technical challenge getting the rig working with 4 max influences and under 128 joints, and definitely took a bit of finessing. The Q'onzu pet is now available in patch 36.0 of Hearthstone! All footage shown was captured in the game engine.

I haven't played the remake, just watched videos, but I get the feeling the devs did not have enough time and/or budget to properly complete the game. Or were forced to use "time saving" tech by Microsoft. Cinematics feels unfinished, weapon animations lack bite, just a lot of weird, odd things
