Just in case anyone wonders I do not and will never use AI in my art. I am just incredibly lazy so a lot of my lines get erased and redrawn and then I post the picture like "yea good enough" and then 3 days later realise I drew like 4 fingers. I've been doing this consistently for over a decade lol

Been thinking about young Frank and Mary and what kind of dynamic they have. They are childhood friends, Mary attends a lot of parties and social events and brings Frank along. He doesn't enjoy big parties but he comes because she asks him to. I have things to write but not enough space lol

Sitting with Allie on the couch and drawing her brother. Me and my mate always personified Alphi's meow based on his tone which became a part of our vocabulary, hence the "aw man" She said it to me on the phone the other night without realizing and it made me smile.

Thanks man, It's going to be rough adjusting to the silence. His screaming and loud purring were my routines in the evenings and mornings, him jumping to reach my hand for pets and almost tripping me down the stairs just part of my day. Such a little gem of a guy

I got home today, I usually sing to him as I walk to the door side by side, his absence is felt. I don't have much else to say. I just needed to go through my photos and see him and talk about him again. It's been 3 days, it's still raw, I held his paw one last time yesterday before sending him off

I got the call as I was getting ready for work. They had found my boy, I took my daughter to school and cried in the parking lot. I wept, I swore, I shook, I couldn't face anyone with a smile, tell them to have a good day, lie through my teeth and grin like an idiot. I never expected this reaction

So now we are in winter. The balcony chair still squished from when he sat on it like an idiot, just how he left it ready for another sunny day. Patches of fur on their fav spots. One day maybe I'll straighten the cushion out, but for now it makes me smile looking a hot mess. I'm not ready yet.

It felt so quiet when he didn't come home. Then I saw a post from a local pet page saying they had seen a cat on the side of the road, he looked white and someone had covered him with a jacket across the road from my house. I ran out, he wasn't there, nothing to see, pitch black

The last interaction we had, he was screaming in the kitchen over chicken, he wanted that chicken so bad. I threatened to pick him up and kiss him if he didn't stop screaming, he hates a pick up. So I did, I picked him up and kissed him repeatedly, put him down and he stopped, walked away offended

When I didn't see him for breakfast that morning it just felt so wrong. He didn't show up for breakfast with my partner, he didn't show for second breakfast, he didn't show for dinner, something was very wrong, not just because he's a food boy but because Allie was here, sleeping in his spot, somber

He was with us for 2 years, it felt longer but not nearly long enough. I was in it for life, I wanted so much more time with him, so many more years with his sister, I wanted him to make friends with Lena finally, I came home from work today and noone was here to greet me and walk me home

The boy wanted to be friends with everyone, even Lizzie, who can't stand him and always was rude to him, had her moments where she would be caught just loving his company. He was just too easy to love, and so patient with everyone, honestly the perfect, goodest boy

Alphi quickly became my special guy, I've never had a cat who just loved unconditionally, of course he loved food time but he would greet you every day after work, walk you to the door, body guard you in the toilet, follow you to hang laundry, he was just always there, always happy to see you

One of my favorite things with Alphi was he was so comfortable letting you just pet him idly, mess with his ears gently, massage his little beans, he would pull away if he didn't like it but he would never get upset or bite or anything, he knew he could just walk away if he wanted

In recent years they haven't been sleeping together as much, but when they were smaller and slept together it was some of the funniest cutest shit I had ever seen, they rarely looked comfy but they would stay there together, basking in the sun, making me smile and raise an eye brow at them

When we first got him everyone said that he loves food, he's going to be a Garfield. And they weren't wrong the boy never missed meal time, and he did outgrow his sister, who made up for that in fluff. It's so funny to think he was the odd one out of the litter of long haired pretty cats

Alphi was the one who would bring home objects or food, sometimes something small like a peg, but mostly he was finding chicken pieces or cheese, I still don't know where he got it from, maybe our neighbour's were just as endeared by him and would give him a chicken leg to take home

Their personalities instantly shone, Alphi has always been so affectionate and gentle, nothing you could do would get a rise out of him, I had never met a cat who didn't, or wouldn't, bite or scratch. When he was a kitten he would sleep across my neck and shoulder and just want to be close

Alli and Alphi came to us as strays. They had been stealing chicken at my partners work place. I originally was against adopting them as we already have a grumpy girl at home but I caved and fell so deeply in love with these 2. The sweetest, most gentle, funny little things <3

Silly character doodles of Shou and Arty who I have never drawn together before. Shou has a fragile ego and Arty would love fucking with him in all ways. Arty may also have a grudge against Shou for being an absent father, so Shou's frustration brings him a lot of pleasure.
