Some paintings I did for Christmas gifts :) #watercolor #cats

Two watercolor paintings in plastic sleeves:
- a sunny room, with one calico cat loafing on a pillow on top of the sofa and another black cat below, looking up at her
- a kitchen counter, with one tuxedo cat sitting in a pot next to a kettle and fresh cup of tea, and another black cat (with a couple white tufts of fur) popping into frame

Thank you! I was worried about a hair dryer damaging it lol, I’ll try it next time around. This is the paper I’m using:

Maid in the Mirror from Cultsim :) Trying some new things again #art #weatherfactory #fantasyart

A ghostly woman looks out from inside a cracked, frosted over mirror -- although her hair dangles outside the frame. She is surrounded by framed artwork, one of which is sitting askew above a bloody handprint. On the wooden table below sit a candle and various papers: one with the occult symbol for Winter, one with symbols representing Evidence, and two with crossed out portraits. The evidence is burning from the upper corner as a Moth sits atop it on the opposite side. In the mirror's reflection, a police detective's hat and coat hang on a coat rack beside a closed door.

Bought some new colored pencils and paints in Tokyo so trying to relearn traditional art… I don’t think I’ve really touched it since getting my first Bamboo as a kid 😭

A magpie and a toadstool, rendered in colored pencil on a journal page. A Goomy figurine sits off to the side.
