Suddenly, the Knight started glowing...! #deltarune

Drawing of The Roaring Knight from Deltarune Chapter 3, performing its final attack as it releases a volley of stars around it.

The background directly behind it is alternating between pink and purple, with it getting darker further away from the Knight.

haven't drawn in multiple weeks but a pvz-related conversation of all things gave me the motivation to draw this lmao

#26 - Gardener Grass from 2C! quick little doodle to get me out of a drawing slump i've been in for a bit #pvz #plantsvszombies

Drawing of Gardener Grass (name taken from wiki's translation due to to lack of offical translation) from the chinese version of PvZ2.

It's shown sleeping in the middle of the day.

Made a clay budew at a college event but it wasn't very good so I redrew it. Much more proud of the drawn version lol #pokemon

Photo of Budew, both a (questionably made) clay figure of it sitting down with its petals curled up, and a drawing of it standing on one leg with its bud open and a striped red/yellow background behind it.

i've never used tumblr so i have no idea what the comparison is like, i just know i'm way more active on discord just bc actual conversations tend to be more engaging than just one-off replies and the like

Seems interesting, but at least from what i'm seeing, likely kinda overpowered. The idea of a sun producer with a level of instant, guaranteed sun production seems cool and i'm always up for more vine plants but 175 sun every 10s on top of being about a 50% strength sunflower seems like... a lot.

doesn't help that only the TD games are seeing any kind of official support nowadays

Choco! @chocohooman.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

i mean i presume it's because the main three genres it occupies are all wildly different that i can't imagine there's much overlap between the three Tower Defence, Card Games and Third-Person Shooters are all way different

do you think when it eventually collides with the ground it goes splat or inexplicably smashes the floor like a ball of lead

#25 - Pokra! POV: You're infinite bucketheads #pvz #plantsvszombies

Drawing of Pokra from PvZ2. It's shown staring straight forward with its left arm held in front of it and its right arm to the side. It's lit up from behind, causing its face to be heavily shaded, but its eyes and mouth are perfectly clear.

The Trio Again It was fun to sketch this art but the rendering part was abysmal to traverse since rendering on this type of art style is hard, eventually I figure out that Layers and thank god Layer Clipping Mask exist on my drawing app which is so useful for this particular art

Choco! @chocohooman.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

shading is really well done here, nice job

I think a couple of the games sold with switch 2 expansions are going to be sold in a bundle as $80 as well (Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Super Mario Party Jamboree i think) but even then the baseline price seems to have risen to $70 which is already kinda ehhh

010

Choco! @chocohooman.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

thank fuck they announced game sharing last direct but still ouch.

Choco! @chocohooman.bsky.social · 01/04/2025

as for the PvZ chain, i didn't continue it because i wanted to do smth special for the 25th one, but "special" means bigger, which means it got put on hold until the other big drawing was done which led to me just going inactive here hopefully that'll be done soon

010

Choco! @chocohooman.bsky.social · 01/04/2025

hopefully will get back into being more active here, as much as i'm proud of how the playlist drawing came out, it also took 3 weeks which is uh Not Great, huh hopefully i didn't miss too much

kinda funny to see this after basically going inactive for 3 weeks myself because of one particularly long drawing (and a lot of procrastination) it's fine lol take care of yourself

Pi Po Pa Po

A whole pile of Teto songs i've been listening to lately, plus an extra goober who I added to the playlist on accident and got to stay because the song's peak #kasaneteto #重音テト #kirby

Drawing of many different Tetos from different songs as well as Magolor Soul from the Kirby series in a collage, each having background elements from their respective music videos (and in MS' case, battle arena).

There's striped borders on the left and right edges (Light and Dark Red on the Left, Red and White on the right), with Pearto peeking out in the bottom left corner.

Track list in replies.

i don't really like it myself? it feels very "almost there" imo i wouldn't mind the reused art on the sides but the reused imp art in the all-star's hand directly in the centre feels so jarring
