2/5 6/7 for bans this time, didn't think they'd actually hit trish. Makes me think theyll also ban enterblathnir. Opening as a limit makes NO fucking sense at all but every ban is good.

1/5 Forgor about the amorphages. Droll to 1 is kind of horrible, decks are searching it as part of their endboard, should have been banned. Zenna ban necessary and seen from miles away. Hydradrive prelim is great. Who invited Aerial Eater? Called By Ban is a CHLOE COMPLETE CULTURAL VICTORY.

38 Bans 8 Limits predictions. Other two Limits are Hydrive Link 5 and new Toon Field Spell pre-hits. Semi-limits are cards I think have a solid shot at being on here but aren't the absolute offenders

made a custom wave of Spellbook support because I was having an argument in a discord about what it would take to modernize it, figured I'd post it here

Serpent Of Prophecy

LEVEL 7 / DARK / SPELLCASTER / 2700 ATK / 1700 DEF

You can only use the (1) and (2) effects of “Serpent of Prophecy” once per turn. Until the end of your next turn after either of these effects resolve, you cannot Special Summon, except Spellcaster Monsters.

(1) If a player activates a Spell Card during their turn (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card, then immediately after this effect resolves, you can add to your hand one “Spellbook Magician of Prophecy”.

(2) If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Immediately after this effect resolves, you can Normal Summon 1 Prophecy or Spellbook Monster.

(3) You can activate 1 “Spellbook” Quick-Play Spell Card from your hand during your opponent's turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Veiled Priestess of Prophecy

LEVEL 5 / DARK / SPELLCASTER / 2500 ATK / 2100 DEF

You can only use this card’s (1) and (2) effects once per turn.
.
(1) You can banish 3 “Spellbook” Cards from your GY; Special Summon this card from your hand or GY.
(2) (Quick Effect) You can banish 1 “Spellbook” Card from your GY, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.
(3) While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to your Quick-Play Spell Card activations for the rest of this turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Master of Prophecy

LINK 1 / DOWN / LIGHT / SPELLCASTER / 1000 ATK

1 “Prophecy” Monster

You can only Link Summon “Master of Prophecy” once per turn. Cannot be used as Link Material, except to summon a “Crowley” Link Monster. If this card is Link Summoned: You can send 1 “Spellbook” Normal or Quick-Play Spell from your deck to the GY; this effect becomes that card's activation effect, and you cannot activate cards with the same original name as the sent card for the rest of this turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spellbook of The Sun

Quick-Play Spell

Target 1 Spellcaster monster you control and shuffle any number of your banished “Spellbook” Spell Cards into the deck; it gains 500 ATK plus 500 ATK per shuffled card, then you can banish one monster on the field with less ATK than that monster’s ATK. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of The Sun”" per turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spellbook of The Moon

Normal Spell

Add 1 “Prophecy” card or “Spellbook” Field Spell from your Deck to your hand, then if your opponent controls a monster, you can change 1 face-up monster on the field to face-down Defense Position. You can banish this card from your GY and target 1 “Prophecy” monster you control; all Spellcaster monsters you currently control become that monster's Level until the end of this turn. You can only activate 1 “Spellbook of the Moon” per turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spellbook Grand Library of the Eclipse

Field Spell

(1) When this card is activated: Reveal 3 "Spellbook" Spell Cards with different names from your Deck except “Spellbook Grand Library of the Eclipse”, your opponent randomly adds 1 of them to your hand, and shuffle the rest back into your Deck.

(2) You can target 1 face-up “Prophecy” monster you control; return that target to the hand, then Normal Summon 1 “Prophecy” monster.

(3) During each Standby Phase, if you have a Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field or in your Graveyard: You can place 1 "Spellbook" Spell Card from your Graveyard or Banishment on the bottom of your Deck, then draw 1 card.

(4) You can banish 14 “Spellbook” Normal and/or Quick-Play Spells with different original names in your GY: Banish your opponent’s entire Deck and Extra Deck.

You can only activate 1 “Spellbook Grand Library of the Eclipse” per turn. You can only use each effect of “Spellbook Grand Library of the Eclipse” once per turn.

September - Herald Clown Crew - Master 2 This deck is genuinely really cool. It could get to M1 if I played enough but the MD format is miserable so I can't be assed. If they waste 1 for 1 interaction like ash or imperm on diviner you basically win. Angel 01 is the most important card in the deck

Right on Shifter, Reprodocus, Bish, Omega. Right on Terminus. Right on Delicious, Fountain. HAPPILY wrong on KT, bye Rotary! Took them long enough to ban Shifter. Whalbaz getting away with MURDER this list. Wish they had banned more of the generic ED negates, Elf still broken. WHERE IS SACRED TREE

Bored and cant sleep. Here's a half wishlist half prediction for the banlist that will be out next week for sure. There's so many cards that are intolerable, but it will get MUCH worse. Windmill slam all the generic synchro negates on the blist along with the lingering hts, ash, and ftk shit. 3 tree

Some decks I'm working on building for standard rn. The wizard mill deck needs some re-tooling, but wizard's staff is crazy for it. The flash deck just needs 2 wild cards for settles and is probably gonna be my main deck. The tokens deck needs a LOT of wildcards but may end up building it out

@iamkillbill.bsky.social drew this Kaiju above my tattoo of his signature from his Keep the Change! tour. Ended up getting it tatted in this morning, it looks so fucking sick. Hope to see you on tour again soon!

Tattoo of a Kaiju, above a pre-existing Tattoo of Kill Bill: The Rapper's signature.

Got to go in the backrooms at the Kill Bill tour after the VIP Q&A, and had Bill draw a Kaiju above the signature he did in Columbus last year. It's so goofy, I love it so much. Gonna get this tatted in tomorrow / Sunday.

Master Ball with what I can only describe as "This". I really like M!Scrafty / M!Raichu Y / Gholdengo as a core. The other 3 members changed a lot but happy with this. Chomp could probably use more Atk investment but I tired of losing Speed ties with other Chomps. Ask if you want any elaborations

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (Season 2) I was worried they wouldn't be able to follow up on S1, since it was a perfect self-contained story, but they did a really good job. Enjoyed it a lot, same reasons as S1. There's a good setup for S3 which is already confirmed, looking forward to that.

Achtsam Morden Very good Dark Comedy. Insanely good concept, with really good execution to match, funny and tense at all the right moments. Imagine Dexter, but instead of the inner demons or whatever he kills people because he's really bad at therapy.

The Boroughs Mostly enjoyable creature feature! I think there's a few pretty noticeable inconsistencies, but I really liked how it was made. It watches like a pre 2000s show, and it kicks ass. Actors good too. Will be watching S2 when it drops, looking forward to it.
