Then you completely miss the point of the character. Ben Solo was never meant to be a great villain, but a conflicted antihero with his own tragic backstory. And he was always paired with Rey even in the TFA visual dictionary. Also, redemption by definition is given, not earned.

i went through (and am still digging myself out of) an intense bout of burnout this year. it’s been a time. but one bright spot that dominated my brain and brought me back to fandom has been these two. they kept the light on and connected me to awesome people and for that i’ll love them forever 💜

Star Wars other TV shows have leaned into the western genre. Which is fine. But Leslye Headland crafted a story that paid tribute to the roots of Star Wars, creating lore that enhances current lore, while still building suspense, and celebrating a diverse cast. #RenewTheAcolyte

Oshamir Week
Day 7 - Earth AU

nocteacakes

“But you haven’t even seen him! His arms were like hams, I swear!” They were sitting in their shared dorm room as Mae recounted the exhilarating — her word, not Osha’s — night she had at a party on Frat Row.

Osha quirked an eyebrow. “Oh yeah? And does this muscular individual happen to have a name? Or is he just Really Ripped Guy At Omega Sigma Phi?”

“Get it right, it was Omega Sigma Tau!” Mae sighed and picked at a thread on her sweatshirt. “To be honest I don’t know if he was part of the frat. And I didn’t catch his name. It was like Kai-beer? Or something.”

Osha rolled her eyes and snorted. “Kai-beer. Right. That sounds exactly like a name a super-ripped mysterious guy who wanders into a frat house party would call himself. What is he, some party mascot?”

—

Their TA was late. Osha sighed and fidgeted in her seat. She wouldn’t even be taking this course if it wasn’t the only GE that fit into her packed schedule. Other students had said it was an easy enough class, as long as you got a good TA. Osha needed this class to be easy. She had too much else going on this quarter. If she didn’t do well on her lab sections —

The mumbling of the classmates around her grew louder — really, where was this guy?

As if the universe heard her, a tall Asian man slammed into the classroom at that very moment. Osha quickly evaluated him.

Frumpy sweatpants, a long woolen jacket — in this weather? — with at least a dozen pockets, a backpack that was literally hanging on by a thread, and he had clearly just come from the cafe, a crumbly buttery scone in one hand and a hot coffee in the other.

He couldn’t possibly be her TA. She was doomed.

—

She lifted her hips up and rode him slowly, letting her body get used to him. His large hands wrapped almost all the way around her waist, thumbs rubbing over the bulge in her lower stomach.

“That’s it, Osha; you can take it.” He pulled her down even as she felt him push deeper inside her.

She let out a whimper; she had never before felt this full.
“You’re sucha good girl. Hard-working. An overachiever.” His words hit at something inside her that only made her wetter. Oh god.

“It’s too much. I can’t — I can’t —” She tried to push back on his chest to relieve some of the building pressure.

“You have to surrender control, Osha. It’s my turn now.” His grip on her tightened, and he began to pick up his pace, the vibrations of his thrusts inside her reverberating up to her head.

Osha could only do as he said — relinquish control and let the force of his body against hers bring her to another orgasm. She didn’t know if she could take four more of these tutoring sessions.
