My dear friends, Your correspondence hath reached me here in Hillsborough. I know not how much longer I will make it.

It's a constant battle here in the killing fields of North Carolina. I had to dodge multiple gangs of roving bandits on my way to work today. I just escaped with my life. The roads are just stained red with all the blood streaming down.

Ok. Bluesky Friends, time for a story. It was easy, living in a rural small town, to look at some of the terrible things that happened around the country and think, “It could never happen here.”

Huge congratulations to the Republicans in the North Carolina general Assembly who today focused on the important work of criminalizing homelessness instead of passing a damn budget.

After two open-heart surgeries, I’ve learned “impossible” is just the start. I’m running for the Orange County Board of Education to give every child the support, resources, and education they deserve. Let’s make schools stronger, fairer, and ready for the future.

Figured now is a good time to remind you of My anti-trump protest song inspired by Woodie Guthrie. It may not be as polished as something on the radio, but it is true and heartfelt.

In the movie "It's A Wonderful Life" they mention the old adage that every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings. While I love that sentiment. I do believe that there are people that have walked this Earth that have already earned their wings before they become angels.

Won't it be grand to have a child predator as our attorney general?

Oh and just because I know you want to see her, here's my dog Nikita. She just turned 14 years old last week.

Another threat I want to port over from the bird app. This is why we need a single-payer healthcare system. Back in 2018 I had four rituximab infusions to help control my ITP. Each infusion cost a minimum of $18,000. (1)

As part of the process of moving over from the bird app, I wanted to repost this tweet that I made over 2 years ago. Time for some real talk about the price of healthcare in this country. I am blessed to have a state job with a great health insurance plan. (1)

I don't know why the delayed reaction but what happened on Tuesday is just starting to hit me now. The majority of voters made it clear that they don't care whether their fellow Americans live or die.
