idk if there's a new generation of folks born well after the peak of this tech's lifetime, but I suspect if there is, there's likely to be some parallels between their work and my own.

thank you! both for my music and this, I never had a Gameboy, let alone a camera for it as a kid. it's never been about nostalgia for me. it's fascinating to see my music and art evoke feelings for those who engage with it, that I didn't put into it during creation.

DEHUMANIZE YOURSELF AND FACE TO BLOODSHED. In the city of disaster, it's the only way to survive. One of the earliest cyberpunk/post apocalyptic RPGs I've come across, and still one with peak 80s anime OVA rule of cool vibes. 📺: The Screamer, Magical Zoo, 1984 (PC-8801)

A crt monitor photo of a character introduction for a blonde female with a mane of hair under a Jo-Jo like peaked cap and the collar of a trenchcoat peeking up .

The basic premise of a city overrun by a biological computer's horrors is laid out.

idk, but it's open season for us who have decided the opposite (which is also awful (complimentary))

yeah, fair enough. just kinda, I know I wouldn't like it if somebody said that about me

idk. don't know if I like that framing

110

i had my suspicions. i need to find out first hand

110

tangential to my last post (lotta mindless task at work today), I should have at least one straight t4t experience. been on my mind a lot lately.

#GBCamtober2026 Day 4 - Smile the cheerfulness of these halloween-y characters I saw on these seasonal balloons in the grocery was infectious

to share a moment of solidarity with one of our queer siblings that come through. sometimes that's all I can cling onto as I work through a day.

could not be the case with this customer and she just didn't notice, but I don't like the sort of division that lack of noticing implies. if I had been in the other employee's shoes, i suspect it might've felt more like erasure than affirming. idk. esp at work I really value the moments where I get

180

to be clear, I did not say this, or out these other employees, but I did essentially say, "there's more of us around here than you think."

1150

back in an area at work where two trans mascs are working today: trans femme customer sees me and remarks that she's glad to see another trans person at this location. my sister in Inanna, I'm just the only trans person here you *clocked*.

we would welcome you in the pwhl fandom 💜

ooh okay! thank you so much 💜 I'm extremely grateful anytime someone is willing to give real, actionable feedback

mm yeah I could see that. I'm grateful mine is pretty manageable, considering the possibilties

as much as I like fashion and dressing up, if I didn't have to wear clothes, it'd be pretty rare for me to

#GBCamtober2026 Day 3 - Cars unreleased gameboy port of Gran Turismo 2 jk, it's 30 frames of poorly played GT 2 captured using time-lapse mode & turned into an animation didn't come across anything car related that sparked my excitement in time for today, so I had to think outside the box a little

1185

I've been on the fence about watching it at all, and this relatable bit of info about it might be the final deciding factor against.

011

i think I agree with that. i can't account for even five off the top of my head, but there's gotta be that many right?

shoutouts to the customer who did a double-take and audibly let out a confused, "waow," when I responded to a hello while walking by. I'm taking that as a compliment

0120

I'll help you sometime. two voices are louder than one.

hell yes. there's a part of me that wants to capture these not by dumping the data from the cartridge but popping the camera into a super Gameboy in an SNES and photographing them being displayed in a CRT television, but that's buying a lot of stuff haha

110

decided to put a black matte around it to force it to be an appropriate resolution on mobile devices. i think I'm happy with this choice? at larger sizes, it looked so noisy

1185

i more meant the both of ya, but yeah
