Chip is drinking his latte when Brandy comes up to ask him something. They wonder if coffee, being the natural laxative it is, is having any negative effects on the small (as in short, of course) hummingbird. Chip looks at Brandy like they've just announced the sky is yellow, asking whatever they could be talking about. Brandy tries to think about what they just said, but eventually come up blank, asking Chip what it was they were talking about, with Chip replying that he has no idea.

Chip, Brandy, and Marc are walking over to the theater their movie will be playing in. Chip's holding two big hotdogs, clearly intent on putting away both by the sounds of his belly. Marc is surprised at chip eating the two hotdogs, and Chip rebuttles with the fact that he didn't eat dinner before coming to the movie. Brandy speaks up though, clarifying that Chip was at the café moments prior chugging almost a dozen refills of latte, which embarrasses Chip.

Chip and Marc walk into a bar at night, Marc being a bit excited at getting to go to a bar since he met his boyfriend Sam. After a little while, Chip finds himself sitting with a sloppy-drunk bunny, poking and pinching at his ball of a belly while teasing him with slurred words. Chip comments how he didn't know Marc was such a lightweight, to which Marc replies that the bird is looking more like a heavyweight himself.

Chip is trembling with a big handful of popcorn in one hand and his latte filled thermos in the other. His shorts are tightly pressed around his developing gut, and once the big scare happens, his button bursts right off of them, scaring the hell out of Chip.

Chip the exhausted hummingbird enters his go-to café at 6 in the morning. When he arrives, Brandy, the pigeon barista who often serves him, greets and tells him that his usual shot of espresso is on the counter for him. Chip sits on a stool and begrudgingly slings back the espresso shot, shuddering at the bitter flavor. Brandy asks Chip why he still orders espresso when it's clear that he hates drinking them.

Chip explains that those shots of espresso are the only thing he's found to help him wake up in the early morning, despite trying to find something else that works. Brandy then offers him a cup of coffee, this one looking much more sugary and grand compared to the meager espresso.
