Ok so that little attiny/Li+cap board i'm making? here's an example of it's usage. Just solder it on the back of another design to provide the blinky/power and make routing simple. Here i whipped up a quick simple design using one of my early anwaar designs. #chippydootles

purple oblong oval with the arabic word for heart (qalb) in gold the middle. Qalb is wrapped onto itself to approximate the shape of an anatomical heart. 3 leds sit where the extra dots for the letter qaf and ba while also visually suggesting veins and aorta.

this is the back view of the board. An oblong purple pcb sits at the bottom while a smaller rectangular black circuit board is mounted on to it. A usb connecter is on one side while a slide switch pokes out the other side.

it is very messy but i made this lil ewaste oasis and horse/rider and leave it by the window sill. The solar panel and super cap still work enough to capture some energy for the lil pond led. Pictured below are two different angles of the same set up

a palm tree is made of small green pcb leaves and brwon wite trunks, a solar cell hangs on top ofnanother tree, at its base hooked up to a mess of blue wires and a blue led. a little horse is made from protoboards with a cap head and googly eyes, a rider stick figure made of thin brass wire on it’s back

ive designed 4 different families for anwaar but only the amulet is considered finished. Bottom row of the photo shows the different families. Amulet, Pendant, Al Bab, Khamsa. on the top are a various faceplates. Teo ive shared a bunch of times but the other two older ones i havent.

here’s some pictures of book block experiments for case binding ive been doing as well. In these im heating up the anti static bags to attempt to kind of laminate them to the pcb. got mixed results but i think it warrants more attempts.

Here’s the ‘slab’, renamed later to ‘Al Bab’ family. this was the last anwaar family prototype design to get a pcb made so there are fewer revisions. Its approximately 2x the length of the amulet while maintaining the same width. I messed around with a 90f, a 30f and a 30f solar harvesting board.

4 arched doorway shaped pcbs sit next to each other long sides touching. the third has a large cut out rectangle and the fourth is showing one of the faceplate designs

Anwaar update: Running a test after programming, basically just letting them all run after a full charge. I'm checking for bad caps or some small shorts that cause the caps to discharge much faster than they should. Basically just watching for ones that stop working much earlier than attended.

today i came across a seemingly composed art piece on a bench in the nearby target. it really captures a relatable emotion.

a cartoon plush of the incredible hulk lays face down on a metal bench, his eyes closed in cartoon semi circles, his feet dangling iff the end of the bench. There is a magazine under the hulk’s face as well as remains of a brownie. a small cardboard box lays atop the hulk giving impression of weighing him down. there is a wax paper tissue from the brownie on the other end of the bed.
