The main reason I went to the Netherlands was the wedding of @catdraoichta and @robinsyl . May they grow in love and joy throughout the years!

At a warehouse that had been subdivided into artist lofts, this was the most spectacular piece of art that I saw. It's electromagnets to lift steel sculptures. I saw it is also art.

Amsterdam has dozens of duck stores. I like to imagine that Netherlanders have frequent emergencies that can only be fixed with rubber ducks. It's more pleasant than knowing these stores are for tourists.

It's a Mama Ducks Store. Hundreds of kinds of rubber ducks, of any color or size that you need for your rubber duck emergency!

Images from the other side of the protest area. The only protestors remaining were one agitator and about five live streamers. There were a few photographers. Only Eli and I were there to just stand and say someone died yesterday.

The Fediverse was absolutely right. The Cable Car museum is very, very cool. And so steampunk! I took video of the engines working. I wish I could make a good recording of the sound of the engines; it's a nifty, very steady white noise-like sound.

Where I am for my birthday lunch... Grand Central Market in "historic downtown" Los Angeles. An amazing group of restaurants!

It's an aisle with neon signs and small restaurants, almost all from Latin America. Chilis, spices, candy, sweets, tostadas, tacos, and fresh bananas are clearly visible.

It's definitely plastic. And seams. There is pink at the top, a blue L toward the bottom, and a green and brown swirl toward the lower right.

After a while, it might or might not resolve to the inside of a cheap inflatable costume with absolutely no vision.
