CHIP Student Internship Spotlight! MPS Student Paul Greenwood is an intern for GENYSIS Core. "During my internship with the GENYSIS Core, I developed a machine learning pipeline that automates quality control (QC) monitoring for genomic sequencing data." Great work Paul!

Last week was graduate student appreciation week where two of our PhD students were granted awards. Liz Kwong won the 2025 Impact Award. Kibria Golam won a travel grant to attend the 87th Annual Meeting of the Association for Information Science and Technology. Congratulations Liza and Kibria!

Today, CHIP PhD student, Ashlyn Zebrowski presented about her dissertation work on leveraging digital tools to help improve how we care for people. Her focuses on virtual reality and exploring behaviors and implementation system requirements to answer "how" to prescribe and deliver treatment.
