It's like if you're trying to exercise to get in shape, but you don't want to do all that work. So you just put your fitbit on a robot that runs on a treadmill, and get your steps in that way. You're getting your steps, but that's meaningless because you're not getting in SHAPE. Which was the point.

I've said this before, but AI is not a tool, it's a crutch. Relying on it, especially for creative work, does far more than just give you a shortcut; it atrophies your creative mind. You rob yourself by skipping the very work that sharpens and hones your creative skills.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.
