Starting off day 1 with an oldie, my girl Alys! Monster girl post-apocalyptic ghost hunter who tries her best to help people by exorcising trapped spirits. A ball of anxiety who would rather be doing almost anything else, and relies on a guardian to fight for her. He's not around right now, though.

Alys in a state of possession. She's especially prone to it, and her giant rabbit companion doesn't seem to be around.

Good game, made me feel things, had a whole lot of fun with this weird nightmare world

But I fell in love with the creature designs. And the distinct kingdoms, all of which had some of my favorite fantasy theming- Being able to travel through them freely in the late game was awesome, too

I did have to put it down for a while due to crashing issues from an update. Which wasn't great. The combat can be repetitive, but i think the magic system does help with that some. That part very much felt like a 2000s RPG.

Finished Dread Delusion and it is absolutely a new favorite. It's beautiful, with a very unique, spooky world, and good writing, too. I adore exploration games, and there were so many little hidden places and secrets to find, I wound up putting 60 hours into a first playthrough of a 20-hour game

MONARCH A beast that exudes power, dominating the sky and land alike. The runic crowns it carries are said to be taken from its defeated enemies, or perhaps favors from the gods. Available for offers, see below vv [ #creaturedesign #monsterart #dragon #chimera #adoptable #adoptabledesign #offer ]

The Dallas Zoo & Fort Worth Zoo, both wonderful programs, are working with Texas Parks & Wildlife to restore wild populations of Texas horned lizards (Phrynosoma cornutum) via zoo breed & release programs. 2026 is already a RECORD year: > 1000 lizards released, with documented wild-born babies.

A gloved human hand holds a round plastic container like you might put a salad in, but there are teeny-tiny horned lizards all alert looking and fierce inside.

"Aaand off they go!
Yesterday, 116 Texas horned lizards started their exciting journey to be released into the wild. Our team has worked tirelessly since their hatching to ensure these little ones are fully prepped and ready for this big moment. Stay tuned for more details on their release!
Our Texas horned lizard conservation program is a collaborative effort with Texas Parks and Wildlife, Rolling Plains Quail Research Foundation, and several of our dedicated zoo partners."

Watched the new Resident Evil movie today, pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Tells its own story, good scares, not so dark you can't see what's going on on screen- Also very nice original monster design and CG effects! Feels like playing through a survival horror game, which i enjoy

"The Whole World is Bark" Brown Creeper and Colorful Zale 8"x10" oil painting on panel Inspired by a Brown Creeper exploring the intricate landscape of bark on an older Yellow Birch, before totality during the 2024 solar eclipse. If you explore the bark too, you'll find the Colorful Zale. 🪶🐡

An oil painting of a Brown Creeper, clinging to the curling and craggy bark of an older Yellow Birch tree. A Colorful Zale moth, which uses Yellow Birch as one of its host plants, clings to the bark in the upper center of the painting, in soft shadows. The light is a somewhat surreal warm grey, as the solar eclipse was well underway, minutes from totality. The artist watermark reads: Copyright 2026 Jennifer Miller "Nambroth" featherdust dot com

I had a vine stuck in my head. As an undead, Asper isn't affected by psychoactives, and they can't taste either. Smoking feels familiar to them, though, so they just kinda dry and use whatever plant they have access to. It's bad.

based on an Evan Breen vine video, "it's vinegar"

And her mother gave her the tools to navigate courtiers and merchants as she does today. Eadra will probably never know what her draconic name was, or how she was rescued from the sea on that night, but she is content with her life as it is, her parents and siblings will always be close to her.

020

ChimericallyLost @chimericallylost.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

They could not show her how to change forms, or call on her elemental ability. These things she struggles with even as an adult, and it still takes some little bit of concentration to maintain a hybrid body as she does. Her adoptive father did teach her to run her business, however-

120

ChimericallyLost @chimericallylost.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Eadra was very sheltered as a wyrmling in a human/elven estate. She relied on books to teach her about her kind and the world at large. She developed some magical skill on her own as well Her adoptive parents were kind and supportive, as far as they could be. Some things they could not help her with
