FA is being very up front about both the cost of hosting the site [it aint cheap] and how advertisers theyd been relying on prior are pushing all the same puritan bullshit weve been seeing other platforms push FA is one of very few Old Internet spaces around. Support em while we CAN

Gonna say to remember to support FA right now as one of the last bastions for a true art gallery website unadulterated by AI, tech billionaires, social media algorithms, and enshittification. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

This badge is done by @roxxiekitsune.bsky.social as of AnthroCon 2025! I'm still so in love with the actual badges themselves. Never handled acrylic myself.

what it feels like being an artist in an era where people who aren’t artists will zoom in 500% to look at how you drew a shirt button and then decide whether or not to debase you

DC isn't normally my thing but i've been on a superhero hyperfixation. I'm going through the Batman Arkham series for the first time. I avoided them for the longest time and just completed Arkham Asylum. Started Arkham City and I'm already invested. What a pretty game for what it is.

Version 2! Way more androgynous. I wanted to represent my goals. Yet another few from @ranavos.bsky.social . Cracked artist, and appreciate the shift in design.

Version "one" of Chimer, The Sepia Sylveon! All of these done by @ranavos.bsky.social The Two variations of the Ribbon dog depending on who they're talking to. Pokemon will see the "canon" Sylveon eyes with light pupils and dark Sclera. (The second pair of images in each set that looks the same)

The Sepia Sylveon's Original version. A sketch drawn by @whoiskidcat.bsky.social . Happy accident that's created an awesome colour palette. We'll call this one "Version 0"

Sepia toned sylveon with warm colors. Gazing to an offscreen viewer in the bottom left with a sinister smug, relaxed body demeanor, and one ribbon angled towards the offscreen viewer like a hand ready to grab them.

I do think not enough people know this - everything after a question mark in a URL is garbage. You can delete it all and the URL still works fine. Strip that shit out when sharing anything.

First real post of bluesky. Time to start using this website much more than I have used twitter/x ever! I'm going to be moving to a new place in the next few weeks. Finally after half a decade I'll have a space to truly call my own! Will be posting more in the future :)
