Mieph’tith 2026 — Guardian of a flood-carved desert basin where snowmelt transforms dry valleys into temporary inland seas. see ALT for design notes

Reference sheet of Mieph’tith, a desert-dwelling Therophæves with enormous barred wings (inspired directly by Kiro Bustards—they are feathered but I didn't want to refine them further), slender legs, grasping claws, and a long whip-like tail. Their plumage is pale sand and cream with dark brown and black markings inspired by raptorial birds. A veil of coarse feathering trails from the haunches like elongated tail feathers.

The sheet includes dorsal and ventral wing views, eye color references, and anatomical notes describing thermal-regulating plumage, facultative zygodactyl feet, defensive flame-wreathing behavior, and adaptations for navigating canyon systems and seasonal floodplains.

Mieph’tith is described as a basin navigator and seasonal guardian inhabiting arid desert basins beneath mountain foothills, centered around a towering sandstone spire used as a sanctuary and observation point.

Fanart |Queen Fang ° ° ° Though I haven't watched the show yet; Primal seems like it'd be a good watch. Fang has a nice design that is memorable and unique without being over the top. ~I worked on a Trex skull once that had really impressive "fangs." Almost the height of the whole dentary 🔪✨️

Reference |Gogh'leor ° ° ° A lone matriarch Ucheru that makes their home amidst the outskirts of the Vavindre Reigns. She is known far and wide for her fine craftsmanship in the art of metalworking. Though highly sought out, few can afford her fee --as it is hewn from the bones of Drakhouls.
