Conversation I just had with my neighbor. I could hear very, very faint bass when my house was silent. I’ve got skillz

My dream Taylor track? Glad you asked. Give me False God’s instrumental (love that 80’s vibe saxophone 🎷) with lyrics similar to Dress. Straight up sultry, sexy and happy. False God has an undercurrent of anxiousness (which is seen across the album)but it’s still my #1 just thanks to instrumentals.

Okay but what if the 2 bows meant something else? Like 2 announcements within 2 weeks? Or the 2 of them officially merging their brands in Chiefs country? Yes I’m reading into this statement like a high school English teacher. I think I deserve partial credit.

Taylor said my man loves Blank Space? Let’s give him a new album with the same producers and him as a muse to top it. #TLOAS

Dreamt that Taylor announced new music. There was a lot of imagery of 2 bows. You heard it here first. 🏹🏹

Unpopular opinion but I hate late sunsets. I need a few hours of dark to be able to sleep so 9pm sunsets mean I'm not sleeping until at least 2am. Give me a 6pm sunset any day of the week.

I know everyone says this but she truly was the best girl. She saved me from a burglar once. And so smart too. She was toilet trained and refused to use a litter box. Even people that disliked cats loved her as she was more human than cat.

This year has been terrible so far. On top of the general state of the world, I had some health issues, my new build house had a leaky roof, etc. Even worse- my cat I’ve had since I was 20 unexpectedly got really sick this week and needed to be put to sleep right before her 16th bday. #fuck2025 🗑️🔥👎

Picture of tortie kitten at 3 months when I got her on top. Bottom photo is of her when she was 15 and fully grown.

I've definitely been rewatching lately. They're still just as funny even after seeing them dozens of times. She deserves a nice break from the internet but I still miss her. Just have to make due with the bread crumbs Julien gives us into their lives.

Courtney 🐍💫 @chill2548.swifties.social · 24/01/2025

I still watch Julien so we get peaks into her life. I miss the chaotic videos though. Never knew what she was going to do.

Funny how work from home isn't good for business/is unproductive until a snow day hits then suddenly work from home is fine. Add it to the list of hypocritical things that state agencies deal with.

$5 SNL tries to get Kate McKinnon to play her (there are similarities in their faces) and completely botch the point about how brave she is.

Fuck Trump. Fuck everyone who voted for Trump. If you voted for him, I hope the absolute worst things in the world happen in your life. May you never know peace. You're a fundamentally evil person. Fuck you. Fuck you sideways on a seesaw.

My partner's father posted excited about the inauguration and thanked the heavens that DJT was going to rescue us from the horrors of the last 8 years. Who wants to tell him who was president 4-8 years ago and responsible for most of the issues he listed? #BoomersGonnaBoom #InstantBlock

Gold is so trendy right now and so many Taylor songs reference gold that I totally get it! I still think they look great.

I would like it noted for the record that I voted blue up and down the ticket but almost none of my candidates won (blue city in a red state). When things go horribly the next 4+ years, I get to complain and say “I told you so”.

It really was! Edinburgh in June was bright for most of the set list so you miss the bracelets and some of the stage lights. But inside in Houston was the original set list without TTPD. It was like seeing 2 different concerts! It’s hard to pick which was better.

Courtney 🐍💫 @chill2548.swifties.social · 03/01/2025

Here’s Houston N3 for proof. Previous was Edinburgh N3.

At concerts, I like to take short videos to remember the moment but still enjoy 95% of the concert without a phone. I’m going through my phone and in a hilarious twist, I filmed the exact same 19 second clip of ATWTMV at Houston N3 and Edinburgh N3 of Eras a year apart. What a fun coincidence!

My resolution for 2025: do something every day for Future Courtney. Examples: go to bed at a reasonable time, take a walk, don’t procrastinate a task I normally would, prep veggies for cooking, tidy up, etc. Anything small (or big) that would make life easier for future me. Open to suggestions!

I’m glad Taylor did what she wanted and I’m grateful I ever got to see the concert in person. The repeating outfits don’t change how incredible the concert was- even on a grainy livestream.

Courtney 🐍💫 @chill2548.swifties.social · 09/12/2024

I have been a Swiftie since Tim McGraw first hit the radio. Was I slightly disappointed that the outfits were the same all 3 nights? Yes as it felt a little anticlimactic esp for Mastermind. Do I understand why she did it/am I excited to see the footage? Yes! Was the concert still amazing? Also yes!

I’m going to end up with a lower score than the night I had it create an entirely random entry and didn’t change a single thing (21 points that night). 😂

I know I was lucky enough to see The Eras Tour twice (both pre and post TTPD) but I still have major FOMO for not being there this weekend. It’s the last chance to experience that magic in person and I’m stuck in the US.

020 2

Courtney 🐍💫 @chill2548.swifties.social · 04/12/2024

Guess that solves the riddle of what’s my favourite TTPD song. Surprised Down Bad didn’t make top 5 bc it did in my heart.

020 2

Courtney 🐍💫 @chill2548.swifties.social · 02/12/2024

I’m not a collector (don’t even have a player) but the TTPD Anthology is back in stock right now if anyone missed out. Avoid the resellers!!

The last half of the year is always the best due to the weather cooling off (usually) and the amount of days off work for the holidays. So looking forward to rotting on this 4 day weekend.
