He looks pretty off right now, but I'm in the process of getting a plushie made for the next Bubble Gumshoes Kickstarter! Waiting for revisions to get him closer to the design.

Apologies to the tables around me who probably have my pitches memorized after hearing them a hundred times, and also for not being able to stay around to check out the other shifts!

Chris Hill @chill.raptureburgers.com · 23/05/2026

The first shift of the first ever #mangaichiba went way better than I expected! We had fairly steady waves of people coming by even though it was daytime on a Friday. I sold out of almost everything I brought by the end of the shift!

Chris Hill @chill.raptureburgers.com · 29/04/2026

I uh probably should have fixed this mistake sooner (the date), but hey, it's a good reason to remind you all that I'll be at #mangaichiba2026 peddling only the hottest original manga.

Chris Hill @chill.raptureburgers.com · 20/04/2026

Finally got around to making a circle cut for #mangaichiba2026!

Went to a Super Bowl/birthday party today where the big draw was the halftime show, but I stayed long enough to see the end of the game. I’m not a sports person, but I’d describe that game as slightly more competitive than a Harlem Globetrotters match.

Hello! I’m Chris, I write most over the top fun things, like my recent manga-turned-motion-comic, The Bubble Gumshoes. It’s fully voiced by anime voice acting legends (OG Evangelion cast), with a live band playing a hot jazz soundtrack, and slick as hell editing.

That said, I hope you'll check it out, and consider buying a copy of the book it's based on. I'm still without a house, and actually don't have a guaranteed way to rebuild right now, but this has been one of the joyful things I've been able to work on in the year since the fire.
