The Day of Rainbows. I went for a long drive up the Smoke Creek Desert, and over to the Black Rock NCA. I’ve never seen so many rainbows in my life. This one is without a doubt is the brightest ever. It popped with color. #blackrockdesert #rainbow

Everyday outside on the landscape is special, not just the photography, but the beauty, solitude, challenge, old friends and being with like minded people are the reasons we go outside, not the photography. I know you get that. And if we are fortunate to see the magic light it makes it even sweeter.

It’s hit or miss. Last June, when I was at Del Norte there was a tease. This year my friend had fog to varying degrees everyday at Del Norte. He made some fantastic images. Fingers crossed for next June.
