A funny from dentist appointment yesterday: she asked if I taken any pain relievers and I said yes Tylenol which should be okay since I'm for sure not pregnant. She & her assistant both burst into laughter. Another sign I'm working with the right people.

I think I'm still processing the shock of what I did to myself. I just had my 3rd bout of anxiety sweats and dry heaves today. I'm doing breathing exercises to try and get a grip. This too shall pass. Thank you so much for your kindness. ❤️

It was self inflicted. I spoke to the oral surgeon's office and booked 1st available to consult which unfortunately isn't until 10/31 but I got on the wait-list for cancellations. It reinforced that this is going to be a long, slow process.

I want to say thank you again for all your kindness and support. It really helps. ❤️ The dentist carefully asked about my injury to make sure it wasn't domestic violence. My upper lip is bruised and swollen so it made sense. I respect it and am glad they're willing to ask hard questions.

I've never even had a cavity so it's scary but it feels good having a plan. I know it's going to be a long process and will just get through things one day at a time. "Change what I can, accept what I cannot" helps me keep things in perspective. Thank you for your kindness and support. ❤️

Learning to eat without touching my front teeth is a process. I'm eating my yogurt with a plastic spoon because they're more forgiving. I've never had a dental issue before. I've never even had a cavity. I will get through it, it all sounds terrifying right now but it feels good having a plan. ❤️

I love a lot of people and I refuse to feel bad for not loving all people. 🥰❤️❤️❤️

It was a quick cry just to let my feelings out. I will definitely keep my eyes on the prize. It was a scary day and a half. I've never had any dental issues before, no cavities ever. I will get through it. 💪❤️

So nice with the lower humidity today. 🥰

I won't be going shoe shopping for a while. 😅

It sounds like the best long-term fix. The other options were all things people I know had constant problems with and later did an implant.

Just a bummer knowing it's going to be a long process and going to have something called a flipper to put in while waiting for the implant so I won't look like one of my toothless hillbilly relatives.

I needed to cry for a few minutes to let it out. It's a bummer but I'm not dying. Silver lining: I think I'm finally going to lose the 5 pounds that have been taunting me. 😅
