I've been considering making a Bard deck for a while, post some links or pictures if you end up making it! So I can be jealous when I inevitably get distracted by a different commander and end up making them instead.

Thanks to everyone I see on my feed. The quality memes, gamecube nostalgia, magic the gathering goofiness, and the lovely fellow writers all make scrolling through my bluesky feed a lovely experience that brings me a little joy in a rather cold and dim world. #bluesky

Cheap. Expensive. Middle of the Road. All ends up the same at the end of the day, the only difference is the reason I drank it and how it felt going down.

One of my favorite qualifiers to read in a manuscript is something akin too. "while this took a long time to describe, the entire fight in fact, only took 3 seconds."

Writing is like filling a bucket of water. Some times it can feel like one drop at a time. Other times it feels like emptying a water fall into a tiny bucket.

I get that I'm still working on the third book for my main series and it's been slow due to health and summer. Hope you feel better soon, and whenever you finish it I'm sure everyone will be happy to read it.

Some pretty solid choices on this tier list.

Sorry for the lack of posting here I got incredibly sick, like so sick I couldn't get to my PC and listen to the audiobook and review it. Sorry for the delay. I'm starting to feel fractionally better as of today, so I'll start work on the audiobook soon.

I always think 'I won't buy an overpriced airport book I've got plenty in my bag.' 10 minutes later: 'is that the new squirrel autobiography?'

Nice! I feel like I'm lucky if I get 1k done a day. My approach is that I just try to be consistent every day, but sometimes hearing people crank out these great numbers makes me consider trying to mix it up.

Chikao J @chikaoj.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

That's definitely something worth being proud of!

I'm doing the math on my current writing rate, there is hope that my next book will be 100% written by the end of May! Woo

000

Chikao J @chikaoj.bsky.social · 04/04/2026

Of course! It's a good book, plus I like having my shelves filled with some quality reading. I prefer to buy hard covers so they'll last.

I want to try out Pokemon Z-A, but the nearly 60$ price tag plus $30 DLC makes me want to wait, but I feel like Pokemon games so rarely go on sale or drop in price.

Any day with progress towards finishing this book and this series, is a day that makes me happy ^^ Although the Audiobook for Traveller's Choice (book 2) is currently being delayed (by about a month) due to some unfortunate events.

I got lots written this week, racing towards the final conclusion in this book. Excited to finish this project!

Chikao J @chikaoj.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

I've laid all the frame work for the final battle, know how I want it to go down, and I've mentally sketched out the Epilogue. Now I just need to get there. :D

Honestly I'd be down to stuck in Lavender Town, the music there would keep me happy, plus I'd have spooky ghosts to keep me company.

Honestly I think I'm going to have to message you about art sometime and pick your brain!

Fantastic art as always, I'm jealous.
