A little secret about me is that I invented many of the slang terms kids use now, such as “no cap.” When I was ten it was really cold one day & some kid wasn’t wearing a hat & so I said, “wow, no cap.” That one really caught on, though most kids use that one incorrectly nowadays.

There’s 5 little kids always near my house playing football, tag, hide&seek etc; one day they rang the doorbell asking if they could “please have snacks b/c they’re hungry.” I was overjoyed to feed those little MFs. Our grocery list now has “snacks for the kids” & it’s the BEST.
