Ur right but buying groceries now comes with its own risks. Lettuce, cucumbers, blueberries, eggs & let’s not forget meat. These are just the things we know about. I’m a veg. but my husband’s a carnivore. Rumors of beef being mixed w/horse meat makes the thought of eating it all the more horrific.

I don't intend to visit any more. I braced myself to imagine the trains arriving & the conditions. The reception has a permanent exhibition of artifacts, films & testimonies. We walked in the perishing cold, saw the remains of the hut Anne Frank & Ette Hillesum were in before deportation and death.
