I don't do quizzes, but as a polyglot I couldn't resist. Grew up in Chicago, lived over a decade in Orlando and almost a decade in Tokyo hanging out with Brits, then back again to Chicago. Coupled with film buffery & tv buffoonery and apparently I'm very Chicago and half Southern Cali.

There was a very tiny spider 🕷️ eating a very tiny flying bug 🪲 on one of my windows. They couldn't have been more than two or three centimeters in length. I couldn't focus on them, so I drew them instead 🎨 Process video 🎥 below 👇

A little #dragonfly flew right up to me and inspected me for half a moment then decided I was boring lol

It’s #WorldRainforestDay! A bit late but here’s a little illustration with a bunch of mammals 🦊 🙈 🐆 🌴

We lost a few trees and lots of branches last night in Chicago ⛈️🌳 the wind was ... 😬🌬️. I'm going to post a couple websites I use that are gorgeous AND give us some weather info, just under this post ↴ because it's not over, folks!

Chicago Park District workers chainsawing, piling up, and transporting felled branches after a strong storm last night. The large pile of debris on the left was taller than all of us. in the center, some workers are working and the truck to their right is getting filled.
