Cornell rapists reported what they did to their fraternity brothers because it was a part of their hazing process to be accepted and gain the protection + network support of the fraternity. Drugging and raping a woman was a requirement for acceptance, and many members had done so to other women.

I think breaking a bone that will heal but ache every time it rains for the rest of their lives seems like an appropriate punishment in this particular case of entering a person's body against their will. They gave her physical and mental trauma for life, let it be returned.
