Who needs a prestigious award? My shot was today’s first frame. 🥹

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. Yep, it’s R-rated! I think because of the number of f-bombs? My mom found out and I got grounded. A few years later my little brother watched Friday the 13th and got in zero trouble. I’ve never let my mother forget it.

Fun fact I just made up: Boba Fett’s posture here was modeled to match that of the standard VFX artist. The intense slope of the neck comes from years of craning over a monitor screen to -what they colloquially term- “split the difference”.

I spent the better part of the last year working on The Mandalorian and Grogu and it has landed at last! I am so glad the world gets to see all of the hard work put in by each & every crew member & dept across every facet of this film. You can catch my contributions primarily in the arena 🪓🐛🪓.

May the 4th be with you all luminous beings today. As a Forth on this fourth day of May, I offer the humble smooth Yoda as a reminder that youth is fleeting. Spend it not dwelling on crude matter. Love what you love, embrace what brings you joy. And most importantly, Star Wars is for EVERYONE.

Master Yoda, renowned Jedi legend, smoothed of all wrinkles in an unsettling image.

In exchange for risking my life in the name of science, I would absolutely have it in my contract that I get to pop at least one of the incredibly expensive upright airbags upon landing and exiting the capsule.

POV: You finally take some time off and spend it filling out a 42 year-old book of games.

Finally finished my first play-through of Baldur’s Gate 3! Hands down, this is now one of my favorite games ever. Now to play Dark Urge and crack open some mods to summon Shrek and give all of my characters meow names.

One of these images happens to be one of my monkey shots from Jurassic World Rebirth. But which one could it ever be? Also great article on what different aspects of the VFX pipeline there are! www.washingtonpost.com/style/intera...

A quiz question asking which of two images-one of CG monkeys and one of a real monkey-is real.

Bonus fun fact! All but the leader of the Commando Elite (Chip, voiced by Tommy Lee Jones) were voiced by a portion of The Dirty Dozen.

I went 27 years not knowing that all but the leader (Archer, voiced by Frank Langella) of the Gorgonites in Small Soldiers were voiced by the members of Spinal Tap and now I love the film even more.

Today’s the day that Jurassic World Rebirth is unleashed upon the world! Not only did I hit a bucket list item of lighting on one of my favorite film series ever, but I got my very first “Lead Digital Artist” credit too! Just the best team to work with too! And killer work by SkySound too! #ilmvfx

I had the pleasure of seeing Elio at Pixar a couple weekends ago and it was an absolute delight! It’s got fun, heart, and humor all wrapped up in gorgeous lighting, environments, animation and more. Be sure to catch it in theaters and support original stories in film! Go go go!!

This is my new foster, Chihiro! Someone dumped her in front of the rescue I foster for, but now she’s safe and cozy now. She’s about 4-5 weeks old, about the size of a grapefruit, but all the pep of a wallaby

I’ve been waiting for the day to end yet wanting to delay the end of such a phenomenal series at the same time. Enjoy, but also please consider giving those who can’t watch the episodes immediately the chance of a spoiler-free scroll. #Andor

Our miniature club at work met last night for our inaugural group paint session. We started off with a familiar face. Not too shabby for my first official miniature paint (I went with a more battle worn look)! Of course, we had to have a good ol standoff between the many Mandos!
