ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 23/02/2026It is sunny in my garden and the crocus has arrived :) 010

ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 28/01/2025I'm not sure why you're surprised, the grey tribe are centrally nerds and Trump offends them because he is, like, the anti-nerd. 100
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 19/01/2025I find AI autocomplete very irritating, autocomplete used to be useful because it would complete things that were actually in your code; AI autocomplete makes up things so now it's worse than useless and I have to type everything out anyway. 140
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 19/01/2025Surely the actual reason for the ban is the national security of having all the major players in the social media space being owned by people from your nation - which makes them more vulnerable to your political pressure than other people's and also brings you revenue and prestige? 100
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 05/01/2025It is that time of year in the UK where we are all adorably excited about snow 020
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 24/11/2024It's good and buzzing at the moment, remains to be seen if this falls off a bit after the Twitter exodus fades. I miss being able to edit posts though, Discord and FB have spoiled me :) 110

ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 19/11/2024The second one - saving the 'fuck' for the end makes it funnier in any context that doesn't usually have swearing as punctuation 010
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Marmite Cheddar. I do actually like marmite but I do not like Cooked Marmite Taste (like Twiglets) and cheddar is already salty enough 010
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Was looking through some photos to post, here's the best of the set 080
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 15/11/2024I am accomplished birb ('a picture on your phone that has your energy but isn't a selfie') 020
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 15/11/2024This is the second account I have not been able to search for this evening so I suspect there's some kind of transient bug that will be fixed soon 100
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 19/07/2024Some people flipped a cop car and set stuff (eg a bus) on fire and threw stuff at police. Basic short lived riot. It's been warm for the first time in a while, social services were attempting to remove kids from a possibly dangerous situation in an area that doesn't have good experiences with cops. 120
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 05/10/2023I love self checkout, it means I can go to a supermarket and buy stuff without having to Do A Shopping Interaction, which is a lot more spoons with autism and hearing loss 1391
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 04/08/2023I think there are some attractors there, like the non safety rules and plot are mostly opt in, there's not much required reading, good photo opportunities; it lets them avoid things that don't scale like expecting everyone to care about a detailed world, economy that works, enforcing game rules etc. 000
ChessyPig @chessypig.bsky.social · 04/08/2023It looks like ConQuest of Mythodea, surely? People bringing their own mythos, faction leader NPCs with exaggerated kit so you can see them in a crowd, full on NPC factions (more like DPCs) as the cheaper ticket price option to provide game for people who didn't bring their own, IC cash as a prop... 000
