Not understanding "tarnished"? It was hard because he came in after two "heartthrobs" so there was a bit of a transition. Some of his episodes are the best ever in the series.

The owner of the hair salon I use was telling me that the cost of the aluminum sheets they use for highlights went up 25% because of tariffs. Luckily I don't color my hair--but for my sisters who do the price of those color jobs will be going up . . . . .

I didn't watch it and only read reports after but had the same thought. What did it gain him? Was he just hankering for nationwide attention? Seems to me he has done something similar before and media keeps falling for it.
