October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month. Domestic abuse is not always physical. It can take many forms, including controlling or coercive behaviour, emotional abuse, intimidation and financial abuse.

As England prepares for tomorrow's World Cup semi-final, it's important to remember that major tournaments can see a rise in domestic abuse incidents. Research found reported incidents increased by 38% when England lost & 26% when they won or drew, with levels remaining 11% higher the next day.

This video still was captured by a farmer near Chesterton who had grown tired of finding green waste dumped on his land. The footage showed a Kidlington resident fly-tipping two large bags of green waste onto an existing pile, raising suspicions that this was not an isolated incident.
