Last nights episode has still left me at a loss for words, in the best way. It was everything. This season has been everything. This is all that we’ve been asking for. I truly don’t know how the rest of the season is going to go when it’s been only 6 episodes and THIS good already 🔥 #TheRookie

The episode starting and ending on Lucy is so cathartic. She’s closing the chapter of her old life and starting the next chapter of her new life. One that involves Tim, a new job and a new home. It was always meant to be.

PLEASE tell me someone else clocked Lucy’s reaction to learning the agents name was Kevin Kelvin 😂😂 Melissa’s acting in that scene was literally so good I couldn’t stop laughing #TheRookie

I’ve never been more happy for us, we ALL deserve to celebrate #Chenford finally getting back together for as long as we possibly want too. God knows we deserve after the emotional roller coaster we went through. #TheRookie I will never shut up about last nights episode.

Not only was that a GREAT episode, but an even better season premiere. That is how you set up a season to be successful. This show is at its best when we get the ensemble cast working together, especially in multiple ways! Plus, it was an EPIC #Chenford reunion for the history books #TheRookie

I genuinely stayed off social media from 6:30/7pm EST and didn’t come back on until 11pm EST. When did the spoilers actually start showing up in the timeline from the Canadian airing in EST? Idk if I can do 4 hours off here every Tuesday! 😅#TheRookie

We came home yesterday from work and found our senior dog unable to move in a puddle of his own urine. We knew this was coming, but seeing it actually happening is hard. We rescued him when he was 3, and he’s just not the dog he once was, so I’m going to give him all the love he deserves while I can

LOVED that finale. I love love love when one half of a relationship professes their love for the other but said other fell asleep unintentionally, mhm mhm mhm. It always hits everytime. He’s SO in love with her, she’s his home. I see so much for #Chenford next season 10/10 finale. #TheRookie

I 100% expected this. It sucks bad, but I think this is the new norm for #TheRookie as long as it keeps getting renewed. I’m not going anywhere, I’m sure most of us aren’t! We made it through last year, I have no doubt we can do it again!

I wish I could go to Chicago this year. Not that I don’t have the means to go, I’m just not very good at going to places by myself without knowing anyone. I’ll gladly live vicariously through everyone again who’s going this year!

Fuck me man, don’t go on TikTok I fucking scrolled and I saw a 2 second clip of the finale but I quickly clicked out of it. I don’t know the context 100% of what I saw but I’m absolutely okay with it, it tracks absolutely for a season finale episode. It’ll make it exciting for S8! But still, fuck.

I really muted every word possible to relate to the rookie on Twitter and my timeline is dead af I’m not upset. I don’t want to be spoiled for a season finale episode. Probably the most important episode of a season. I’m keeping my peace and watching live.

In my Greys rewatch, I’m at the Meredith/DeLuca relationship and they fumbled that bag SO hard. DeLuca was the only relationship post Derek that made any and all sense. They literally could’ve went so much further but noooo they had to ruin that and make him go psycho and kill him off

I LOVED last nights episode. I’m okay with Tim and Lucy seemingly not talking about their feelings/emotions (yet) and having fun being physical with eachother. We haven’t seen them like this in a very long time and they seem happy so let them eat it up. The emotions will come later

I really, really do have faith in whatever storyline these writers have for the rest of the season for #Chenford, no matter what it is. It’s super sad that nobody else feels that way over there I’m not giving up on them or this show.

Is it any better over here?! I don’t even want to go on Twitter because of all the assumptions that Chenford are dunzo dunzo because of something Eric said in a cameo? and the way everyone THINKS the rest of the season is gonna go with no reunion in the future…is there anyone like me who has hope?

I just found out I have to go for an early diagnostic mammogram because of inconclusive results from a breast ultrasound. At 32. I believe everything is okay and this is just for precaution, but it’s still a scary thing to be told. All will be well, putting that out in the universe ✨🪷💛

I haven’t watched emilia Perez so idk if it’s deserved or not but can we all pretend that she won this Oscar for “From Scratch” even though it was a limited series bc she acted her ass off in that and if there were Oscars for tv shows it should be hers

I’ve been watching #TheRookie from the start again and you get a whole new experience binge watching it. I believe the lean towards romanticizing the relationship between Tim and Lucy started towards the end of S3, They were always meant to be, it was just a matter of when 🥹

Linds ✨🌼 @chenfordsbby.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Melissa wasnt lying when she said chenford fans would be left on the hook bc tim and Lucy had that hook dangling in front of our faces the entire episode last night but like I loved it sm

chenford literally rose up out of the ashes of their own demise idk about you but that’s some symbolism right there they laid to rest the breakup and the aftermath of it and are rising up and out of the ashes of their past and into a new era re-birth of their relationship (hence the hospital scene)

I started watching again from season 1 and my GOD if 1x01 Tim Bradford saw 7x08 Tim Bradford professing his undying love for one Lucy Chen he would literally laugh in his face THE GROWTH OF THAT MAN he is so in love with her (and Lucy with Tim too bby girl just a bit heartbroken still)

Lucy’s outfits and demeanor are so, SO light this season compared to last and I know thats directly correlated to her status with Tim. It was so heavy all of last season and their finally in a state of lightness and it looks SO GOOD on our Lucy girl

he wanted to tell her how much he misses her but it wasn’t his place after just breaking up with her vs they are in a place of healing so he knows that saying he misses her isn’t crossing any boundaries and she actually should (and deserves to) know that he loves and misses her
