I find it super interesting that Lilith supposedly became a succubus following her expulsion from Eden for refusing to submit to Adam/lay beneath him, but the etymology of the term succubus is literally to lay under (sub- 'under' and cubare 'to lie'). Not point to this really, just today's thought.

Stuart - from Crewkerne - called into BBC Radio Somerset to say some roads are passable but drivers need to be very careful.

He said he was travelling on the M5 for Crewkerne to support farmers with tractors.

"Please everybody be careful on the M5," he warned the programme. "Vehicles were getting blown across the carriageways so just be careful.

I honestly am still baffled that there werewolf trials are only ever a passing footnote when discussing the witch trials. Over 30,000 people were murdered for 'being a werewolf'. Do you know how much I would read about this? - unfortunately not my area of expertise.
