It's time to tell the Government what you think about the future of councils in Essex! 📢 Like most Essex councils, our preference is for five unitary councils. 🖐️ But this isn’t the only option being put forward. 🤔

Let's put Chelmsford first. 💜 Local people should have a strong voice in decisions that affect them. 🙋 There are 15 councils in Essex - but not for long. Soon, there will only be three, four or five. We think five is best for the people of Chelmsford. 5️⃣

Should Essex have 3 or 5 councils in future? 🧐 We're backing a proposal for 5 new councils that would see Chelmsford joining up with Maldon and Brentwood. Others want 3 councils, where Chelmsford would be grouped together with Maldon, Brentwood, Harlow and Epping.
