As someone who translates fics it can depend, sometimes i take a few months to translate 1 fic which might make it seem that i abandoned it due to such a long time 😅 also you can always ask them to link your original fic in theirs and share a link to their finished translation as well!

Also maybe personal gripe as i see it often, but some fans sideline Jayce's feelings a lot in favor of Viktor. So jayce just becomes a footnote for Vik's development and don't get me started on how they treat Mel (with both shunned characters being poc hmmm suspicious)
