But it’s not their job. It’s the staff’s job. Why there’s a tech is team calls TO w/o one, because it’s not the refs job to know. I’m going to side with Coach Cheryl Miller: make a stink, walk onto the court and plant yourself until you get the refs to verify with official scorer.

Both statements are true. W refs suck, but it’s up to the team to know what they have left and if needed, have the ref check with official scorer. Every team has (or should unless your HC is a dipshit) a stats or asst coach to keep track of TOs, fouls, things that can’t be adjusted after the game.

True, we call them SEC ref school dropouts. But Coach shouldn’t rely on refs, should have staff keeping track and be willing to get refs to check with official scorers.

Yes, W refs are shite. But there should be someone on the bench (asst coach, stats) who is responsible for keeping track of fouls, TOs. It appears either DeMarco doesn’t have one, that person is incompetent, or that person hates him. And as Coach, he should be told of discrepancy and argue w/refs

Jammed (dislocated) a finger on her shooting hand. My untrained eye thinking ring finger. Tried tape, ripped it off. Continued, then hit it again and left the court. Was ruled out shortly after. Hoping training staff can find a tape/sleeve solution for game 2.
