I have what I consider a holy grail now in my possession. BernBaum’s Lamb and Lingonberry on Focaccia is mine to make!! One of the few vestiges of Fargo that I actually miss.

Yes! Kinda sorta—you could apply labels to your account if you subscribed to a specific labeler like the attached image. We used to have labels that listed whether or not someone was an artist or a writer.

Artists, show how you draw veils! Two older pieces, one from my final semester in college, and the other being the cover for the Fat Craft III zine!

A graphite illustration of a massive veiled person. In their lap sits a fat naked woman, and at their feet are many boa constrictors. They sit in a throne of obscured, and on the back of it sits a massive panther. The woman and the panther stare at the viewer, the woman looks forlorn while she pets the panther’s nose, whereas the panther looks aggressive and ready to strike.

Around the veiled person’s head is a massive, egg-like collar, and atop their head is a sharp, five pronged crown. Their face is merely shadows, obscured by their full body veil.

There was a time when you'd even try to make a Sona based on the theme. I miss the whimsy of before; knowing too much takes that light away.

A rough painterly sketch of a fat feminine person. They wear red and gold thigh high boots, a see-through mesh body suit embellished with red jewels coming down from a red collar that looks to be a slit throat. She wears a massive gold pauldron on her left shoulder with sharp clawed gauntlets. In her right hand she holds a black curvy sword that is aflame. On her back is a long scarlet red train and two flexed angel wings. She looks back while lifting her left hand, her long light brown hair trailing almost as long as the red train. Red earrings are fixed in her ears and dangle at her shoulders. Behind her head is an illuminated disc of light, her expression reverent.

The signature from when this piece was completed was in 2018.

hi #PortfolioDay i'm chel. i illustrate, write, and like the blue elf avatar. 🎨 www.chelbizzaro.com

A character sheet of the character Branka from Chelbizzaro's Simulacra. She is a plus size Caucasian femme with light brown hair tied into a tiny messy pony at the back of her head. A protective sheath covers the back of her head, housing small thin feelers not unlike na'vi kuru. Her pupils glow from within the retina, and she wears a white haptic bodysuit.

A comic showcasing Hypodriive's Kitcher getting stabbed by Chelbizzaro's Edie. The moment is tense and dark.

I watched Love, Actually for the first time ever today. It’s safe to say I wasn’t a fan.

A letterbox review: My first watch of this film was today and all that I have to say is: what an insufferable piece of film that can't even be called cinema. Every scene has an undercurrent of miasma and misery heavily lacquered with a veneer of holiday jewel tones. What's meant to be a cornucopia of complex romance narratives interwoven instead exists as cringe-worthy vignettes of people who hate their fellow man and adhere to stereotype in order to navigate their shallow lives. The exchange with the British Parliament and Billy Bob Clinton summarized the majority of the film: so much talk yet nothing was said, so much passive aggression that sincerity ceases to exist. Save yourself the agony, watch literally any other Christmas film this holiday season. Yes, even Krampus.
