I don't get paid for anything I do. I actively decline payment opportunities from Twitch and Youtube. I don't care how big my "Follower number" gets. I actually don't want to be popular. I just... wanna be something positive, in a world so full of negative energy. I wanna make smiles.

I defo won't say that I can heal anyone with these. But there was a point in life for me... that I looked to the kind words of furries... The fluffy, smiling souls on my computer screen, to get through some of my younger days. They helped. I'm just trying to give back to the community.

The want to stream, or talk in VC's is so strong, but I can't. x3 This has happened before. I have a super sensitive voice box. As I never push it hard ever. So when I do I knock it out of commission pretty easy. x3 I'll be good as new in no time I am sure! Just gotta rest.

Vocal Couple days ago I thought it was funny that my voice was being weird... Turns out I really did actually mess up my vocal chords. Aaaaaand doin' voice clips while messing with it made it worse. x3 Now I am trying my best to not talk at all. And its annoying, because I wanna talk. But can't.

Youtube is unfortunately getting so full of the AI things, its kinda hard to not come across them while trying to find new music. It sorta makes me feel old, like I'm not embracing the future cause I'm stuck in the old way. But I legit just dont like it. xD I want PEOPLE to sing. Not a robo.

its cheaper per month to buy the music you like from eBay or a store. Sometimes you can find DVD's and BluRays for like 1 dollar at walmart. All the streaming services are defo dying... because they are expensive. which makes no sense to pay with limited funds for the general public. Not BC of AI.

I havent had a spoofy or an apple sub in years. Nor sub to Netflix or Hulu. All those monies went into buying the music, shows and content I like on physical forms. Math: Netflix is 20/m, Spotify is 13/m. A bluray is about 10 A DVD is about 4 a CD album is about 6 Not listening to AI. Priceless.

Behind the TV, there is a lil box that has an HDMI input, and then the other side has Yellow, white and red RCA jacks that go into the TV in the back. The converter isn't perfect, but it does bypass the HDCP copy protection of the fire stick, which without this wouldn't work at all.

Smell #nerd #tech Am I the only one... that when I get a "New To Me" piece of tech... Whehter actually new, or new from ebay or something... I have to smell it. Like first thing. Before I do anything with it, I smell it. Its almsot always a treat to do this for me. No idea why, but it is.

Clouds #photography The weather is getting cooler, the air smells more crisp and the sky is making some of the most pretty cloud formations. Wispy, loopy and fun! Just taken with my phone. Haven't taken the Floppy Cam out in a while. I should do that.

Yea, I took a look at what I was getting for my 10 bucks a month, as I really only was paying the 10 bucks a month to support the platform, as I did use it a lot. I don't use VRChat much anymore... I don't get much in return (That I use) and VR Chat is losing touch. So I did something about it.

VR Chat Apparently VR Chat is promoting AI Generated worlds now. I pay monthly for VRChat+... hardly use VR Chat anymore... and VRChat is promoting worlds that were made for free with AI. That doesn't vibe with me man... There actually isn't a reason for me to have VRChat+ anymore. Hmm...

Meta Connect Was a waste of time for me. AI was all they could focus on. Even when they announced the poorly named VR centric glasses, that has 70 FOV? No controllers... for 1299? The Steam Frame defo seems to be THE headset now. Meta completely dropped the ball in my opinion.

Discord There is a lot of discourse surrounding it right now. And people are saying to cancel their Nitro. But they still use Discord. Whatever happened to those Discord alternatives people were talking about? I had two different Alternatives running for months, but NO ONE showed up.

Linux #Tech #linux #zorin #ZorinOS Decided to make a move. I'm experimenting with less powerful tech atm. And windows 11 was hoggin' resources like crazy. SO... I installed ZorinOS, a Linux distro. Gunna try and run this as my main. Wish Me luck!

Its not a rugged PC, it was just what the market was like back in 1987-1989, where "laptops" weren't really a thing yet. So this formfactor was one of the options available at the time. Haha, if I dropped this poor thing, it would probably break apart. Its mostly plastic holding it all together.

The case/Monitor were just a China copy of the Compaq Portable iii, but inside it was a standard Motherboard (for the time). I think the case is from around 1989 or so. Not entirely sure. The Screen is 8 shades of "orange" I think. It can't do color, although the "gpu" is doing 16 colors.

This computer I believe was "copied" and was supposed to look like a Compaq Portable iii. BUT on the inside it uses a standard BabyAT motherboard. The original 386sx board was dead, so I replaced it with an AMD K6 motherboard. And it just worked! The K6 is about 1998 I think.
