The only worse result than rolling a lower roll with advantage/ hero point is rolling the exact same thing twice 🫠

First high level session be like #ttrpg #SporeWar #Pathfinder2e

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

I thought the biggest reveal in my homebrew session would be that one of the characters struck a deal with a hag but apparently a different character has been going by a fake name the entire time and that fully took the winning spot 🔥

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 09/04/2025

Finished running another campaign today. My favorite part of ending a campaign is each player's epilogue. I ask players to think in advance of two possible options: 1. What is your epilogue if you live 2. What is your epilogue if you die These are always emotional and I love it in games #ttrpg

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

Planned Combat: Just a few crabs, easy fight. Actual Combat: Crabs rolling 6 Nat20, critting 6 times, nearly killing the party. 🦀 #TTRPG #PF2e 🦀

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

I have come to the conclusion that when I tell my players "this boss will be a breeze" we have a 4 hour encounter where they almost TPK. However, if I warn them that it's a deadly encounter, they somehow kill the boss in 2 rounds? I should stop telling things to players. Their dice are listening 🥲

The real enemy of every professional online GM- Slow internet 💀

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

When you hype your players to roll initiative and this happens 😅 #ttrpg #PF2e #foundryVTT

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

My players just fought against a high level dragon, and their fight was fully the embodiment of "every plus 1 matters". The fact that teamwork and RP choices actually have important outcomes is one of my favorite things about Pathfinder 2e. #PF2e #TTRPG

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

How to make a dungeon more challenging: 1. Make all the monsters stronger❌ 2. Give the party a random bird to keep alive while they explore ✅

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

My two constant states of TTRPG. It's either or, there is no "both" 1. Write every small detail in case I am asked about something. I know every NPC and every name by heart. 2. Write nothing and improvise, hopefully Ill remember how I called this NPC later

CheesyGMing @cheesygming.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

Plan: Just get some non-AI art and music for the session. Simple. Short. Actual events: So If I add 11 new classes they will have some more options. But I should also pre-make the classes. Oh I should also write what the classes do. Oh I should also explain skills. (She did not get art nor music)

*Demon possesses the ranger* Me: what do you all do? Wizard: Squints and stares at the demon Ranger: Someone tie me up Monk: Punches the Ranger

Reasons why TTRPG is unrealistic: - Dragons, aliens, magic and monsters - You go from farmer to hero in 3 months - You change the world - Affordable lifestyle - You can stop misinformation within seconds - You can overthrow the tyrant Lich and his pet puppet - Fireball
