I can't truly compare my experience to the healthcare in other countries. However, what I have received in the US is less than sub par. Doctors are extremely dismissive and expensive, so you don't really get help for anything and pay a ton here. I gave up.

They are in a pinch because the economy has put pressure on all artists. Please consider getting them some traffic to their accounts. They aren't on Bluesky, but I've been trying.

Looking for some amazing tattoo artists in San Antonio? Go over to Insta and check out Trickroomtattoo and Fennekimtattoos. They did my chest piece shown below from a vague request with artistic liberty. And Nick did my arm sleeve!

I emailed the general manager with updates on this situation, but they may not work on Sunday. A call will be placed tomorrow. I don't post pics of my face lightly. I cannot open my eye and there's no telling when this will subside or heal.

A huge fear about going to conventions just happened. Leaving at 2am from #LSFC after being bitten on the face twice by a bedbug. I'm allergic to these fuckers and now we are going to have to figure out a damn sure way we aren't taking them into our house. Everything is in bags right now.

Happy fursuit Friday! Had to take a break for my old lady nap, but I'll be back down in the con in suite shortly! #lsfc

I can't wait to head to LSFC tomorrow! I know I'm a bit awkward, but would love some good conversation and company.

Doing last checks on what's getting packed for @lonestarfurcon.bsky.social next weekend! Idk who all is going, but I'm looking forward to this so much.

Needed to refurb zippers and that worked out beautifully. Then got a wild thought and I love this small change! Fur needs a steam and brush, but I can't wait for Lonestar in February.

I can't imagine spending any money on something that isn't strictly a need because of the "what ifs" with everything being more expensive and layoffs happening so often now. I don't even splurge a little when grocery shopping. Some friends have been able to leave, but myself and others can't yet

020

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 23/11/2025

I also can't seem to plan longer than a week at a time. I have a job I really enjoy, but it was recently the 1 year anniversary since layoffs were announced at my last job and I was given an end date. I would say it was generous, but it took those months to find a new job and now the market is worse

We had a cooler day. I thought I could go out and take some dinosaur pics without being eaten alive by mosquitos, but I was wrong lol.

Doing the prep work to put in a longer zipper. Let's hope I don't fuck this up.

Laying in bed trying to to will my brain to stop wanting to suddenly fix/replace the zippers in Hysteria's head. I need sleep and can start on that tomorrow. My first attempt last year wasn't terrible, but I need more room to get my head with my glasses in.

I look forward to seeing how this first year at the new location goes, but we had to skip it this year. Not in the budget for the hotel costs. But I've put extra consideration into our budget for next year.

000

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

We plan to attend again so hopefully we meet again a different year. Ive already adjusted our budget with saving for cons in mind.

I look forward to seeing how it goes this first year at the new location. We had to skip it bc the hotel cost was out of budget, among a few other factors out of my control. But I'll love seeing all the pics and vids from people.

This crazy bird is hormonal and it's a whole house affair to manage his aggression and obsession.

000

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

My sleeve was also done by Trickroomtattoo, so I knew the style and had talked extensively about what I was looking for in this piece. My biggest caveats were bird species I didn't want used lol.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

Got my chest tattoo finished and I am beyond happy. If you are in the San Antonio area and want a custom piece, definitely check out Trickroomtattoo and fennekimtattoo on IG. This was a collab piece from both artists. I gave them a vague idea of what I wanted and let them run wild.

I have a plush project I'm working on right now, but would it be insane to think about making some fairly basic fursuit partial to possibly sell? The crafting part is my hobby and almost like therapy. I'm not looking to get into business, but I can't craft indefinitely because of space.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

This was literally my first time going to a photo room at any con. I've always been too nervous to lol. But thanks to you I felt confident enough to go to the one at Stratosfur too!

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 12/09/2025

Woo! Looks like #lonestarfurcon is where I'll be next year! Got my ticket and room booked. Throwback pic from last year. Loved the first year at this con and look forward to next year.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

No hate to any of the cons. I understand needing new venues for more space, or limiting registration numbers, or even being stuck another year with a venue even though the con has outgrown the space. Like many, I am having to weigh the time, money, and effort so I'm responsible.

000

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

I'm not sure which cons I'll get to go to next year. Skipping ACFI this year because of cost. I'm hoping to go to Lonestar if I can snag tickets when that opens. I always have such a good time at Stratosfur, but attendee numbers really popped off this year so...might skip next year.

My latest sewing project. Colors were inspired by a kingfisher art piece I saw. Pattern by Vertebress with modification for teeth, extra fingers, claws on hands and feet, and feathers. Hand painted eyes. All fur from @bigzfabric.bsky.social

I do not know how you guys shave fur on the form so nicely. I've followed all the tips and tricks, using a guard, going slow, even pressure, and I have yet to get better at it. I can't always plan fur length out so that I can shave it down beforehand.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

I am in my whimsy era. I took some staged pics of some dinosaur toys. I've seen others do it, and I'm sure I could get better with practice. But it's ultimately just for fun.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

Started my chest tattoo yesterday. This is such a beautiful piece. We got about 75% done, though I can't share the pics without editing for societal modesty. This was a collab piece and after 6 hours of 2 artists tattooing, I had to call it a night.

Hi! So I would like to actually put an introduction here. I'm not incredibly active on any social media, but I greatly enjoy being part of a positive and fun community. My main sona is Hysteria, the hoatzin. Outside of suit, I'm a late-diagnosed neurodivergent individual trying to live.

Attendance was so much bigger than last year. It's not a bad thing, but presents variables I need to account for when planning my own attendance. That and the parade being on Sunday lol. I couldn't stay bc I didn't plan for that. But overall it was a great con.

Abundant Cheese Wrappers 🔜 LSFC @cheesewrappers.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

Back home from #stratosfur. I had such a great time, just one little hiccup. Grateful the con has a quiet room when I got too overwhelmed and the elevators were too busy for me to get to my room quickly. I'll need to make some additional plans for next year's crowding and schedule changes.
