ps, i know r/DefendingAIArt does not encapsulate every pro-AI argument. I'm sure there are some good arguments from pro-AI people that aren't in bad faith. It's just that many there that seem to be advocating for corporate slop and misrepresenting anti-AI artists to justify brushing off concerns.

my parents almost got scammed by an AI TCM book :( they didn’t realise until I noticed that the words in the pages of the book they show are not actual Chinese characters :( and my mom is also trying to generate an AI image but keeps complaining that it gets the school uniform wrong :(
