Before LWJ can take offence for the second time, or push him away, or tell him to get lost, or really anything — the boy is already turning and walking away, a hand carelessly raised over his head waving goodbye. "If you don't show up, I guess I'll just keep this."

"Ahh," the boy's eyebrows go up. Eyes alight with mischief. "Presumptuous about what exactly? The cafeteria or you?" "Both." LWJ turns away. The boy rushes around him until he's blocking him again. "Same time at the cafeteria tomorrow." It's not a question this time.

"So, same time at the cafeteria tomorrow?" The audacity. "No." The boy tilts his head. Looks him up and down. Grins again. "Ahhh. The cafeteria not upto your standards, little prince?" LWJ's mouth swiftly presses thin. "You are terribly presumptuous."

"Ahh sorry," he gently brushes his knuckle over LWJ's lower lip and then just as casually, he steps back. "Dust really doesn't look good on you." LWJ resists the urge to lick the spot the phantom touch is lingering on. And then grits his teeth at the improper instinct.

LWJ blinks. Then he frowns. He doesn't get to respond though. Because when the boy looks up—his eyes once more creased with a bright curious smile—he's stepping closer again, inching his unbruised finger towards LWJ's lips this time. LWJ goes cross-eyed glaring down at it.

"Correction. I tripped us /both/." To say LWJ is appalled would be an understatement. "Incorrect," he grits back. "I took you down with me." WWX grins. "So you admit it's your fault too. I'm sure a nice guy like you would want to apologize. You can do it with coffee."

"Just so you know, I don't take thankyous from pretty boys," the insolent boy says cheekily, dusting off LWJ's hair first, then shoulders, then the rest of his jacket. "I won't refuse a coffee though." LWJ bats his hand away. "You are the one who tripped me in the first place."

With some confusion, LWJ realizes the boy's other hand is under his head, where it landed during the fall probably to cushion it against the ground. He lifts his head, and WWX's hand finally emerges, his knuckles bloody and bruised, which he ignores in favour of helping LWJ up.

WWX's grin widens for some reason. It's perhaps the proximity that makes him act—the boy is insanely pretty & slotted against him all warm and soft—coz he finds his fingers inching up and sweeping the strands of hair away from his face. "You'll have to let go of my hand first."

"Woah, my bad," WWX laughs nervously, his eyes scanning the face peering angrily up at him. It's the pretty boy who braced the impact of their fall and yet, WWX is the one who feels his breath knock out. "Your jacket is gonna get dirty." The boy's glare narrows. "Get off."

WWX laughs, nervously scratching the back of his head. He considers deflecting, maybe flirting his way out with something about doctors having pretty faces and pretty hands. In the end though, he sighs. “Would you like some help ruining this match for the both of us?”

By all means, this should offend him. Yet somehow, he’s unable to help himself from breaking out in a grin, the weird thrill of knowingly poking at a perpetually annoyed bear. The man looks so pissed his pretty face is almost glowing, and it delights WWX more than it should.
