Elon Musk is actually a Canadian citizen. He got it through his repulsive mother who was born here, so it can't even be revoked. On a different note, has foreign interference been made illegal? If not, it should, ASAP. Likely won't help much when going after people located in a different country,

Of course! I had to try all the things! Today I tried the jar of mixed kernels. They looked nice in the rainbow arrangement, but I mixed them all together so I'd get a bit of everything. For a solid, durable mid-century pen, I would agree with the people who recommend the Lamy 2000. If you don't mind hunting for a vintage pen, the Parker 51 is a very popular pen with collectors and usually pretty easy to find on eBay. Both options are great choices for a daily writer.

The Lamy 2000 was designed in 1966, so that rec is spot on. It's an excellent writer too. Atlas Stationers has it on sale right now. I'd be tempted if I didn't have two already.

Got a new popcorn popper and needed Canadian popcorn for it. I did a search and found Uncle Bob's, a family farm business in Walsingham, Ontario. They have all kinds of gourmet popcorns and also seasonings, and I went a bit wild. #buyCanadian Behold my haul from Uncle Bob's:

A variety of Uncle Bob's popcorn including gourmet varieties like Strawberry Red, Purple Passion, Shamu Blue and Ancient Grains as well as a jar of different colourful varieties arranged in layers and a bag of boring white hull-less popcorn. Also four bottles of popcorn seasoning: white cheddar, caramel and honey habanero.

Dare has a couple of new-ish cream-filled cookies inspired by doughnuts. The Boston cream ones are kind of meh. Very sweet, but not much flavour. The apple fritter cookies are really good though. Still pretty sweet, but great flavour. Good with coffee or tee to cut the sweetness a bit.

Yes, to getting rid of the electoral college. It's worse than the first-past-the-post system we have in Canada. Not sure how making the President subordinate to congress would help. The judiciary should be independent and not subordinate to any branch of government. Term limits and an actual enforceable code of conduct would solve a lot of the problems the US is having with their Supreme Court right now, I think.

I hope you find some thing you love! Remember to rinse your pen and converter out thoroughly when you switch brands. Sometimes different brands can react with each other in ways that are not good for your pen.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention. The inks I mentioned are all bottled inks. If you are using cartridges, you'll need a converter to be able to use them. Refilling cartridges with a syringe is annoying.

I like Diamine, a lot. Their inks are reasonably priced, and they have many, many colours. Unless you get their new waterproof inks, though, they have no water resistance at all. I also like Faber-Castell inks. Iroshizuku inks are very popular, although I haven't tried them myself... yet.
