Too easy to play through our midfield and hit us on the counter when we go forward. Need one full back tucking in to midfield to shore up the defensive cover. Thiaw and Botman exposed too many times last night.

I do wonder whether there is a deliberate ploy to delay release of new kits until 1st of July so all revenue from sales can be used to maximise the available SCR? It may be negligible figures but in a world of marginal gains, maybe that’s why?

I agree. It seems odd not having that structure but there was a lot of noise about Howe being unhappy last season when Mitchell was brought in so I assume that’s what they are considering when making this move.
