Would really appreciate people re-sharing and whishlisting our game, as indie devs with zero budget, spreading the word and getting our wishlist numbers up will be a massive help. Thanks in advance to anyone who has done so.

ListenCorp. Magazine Issue 5. This little Zine has a solid few pages of information focused around the music of Wipeout, and interview snippits from @coldstorage.bsky.social within it. Cool front cover design to boot!

Wipeout Fusion Limited Edition for PS2. Been wanting to pick up one of these for some time now! Fusion is an incredibly easily obtained game, but this limited edition of it with the lenticular cover on the sleeve seems much fewer and further between!

Also one of the best handheld boxing games ever made. Just a brilliant game. And hell, since I’ll probably not have another opportunity to talk about this game and actually not the one bringing it up, here’s the Weekly Shonen raffle calendar for it, as well as the pre-order case.

Engineering outcomes based on an ever-reducing series of perceived oppressions does not supply maximum reward, and cannot do so by its nature. Equal access and equal outcomes are mutually exclusive. Meritocracy is, and will always be, the most morally righteous undertaking.

A full page ad for the first Wipeout game with less of the Designers Republic iconography than 2097's ads and with a pretty nifty render of the ships in flight.

At the root of the issue is people conflating simply having a platform with: 1. Having the first clue what they’re talking about. 2. Being intellectually capable of negotiating the nuances of complex topics and applied criticism. 3. Literally anyone asking. There’s no entry exam for “activism”.

Funny story: when I was a kid, there was this older boy making fun of me for not having a pair, being poor, etc. So, I beat seven shades of shit out of him, threw one of his shoes in the woods. Now, when I think of ‘Pumps’, I think of him limping into the woods after his shoe.

It CAN be perfectly fine here, if users can just get out of their own way. I keep a purely gaming-centric profile here, engage with no political discussion here whatsoever, and every fourth or fifth post is still the same shit takes of pre-buyout Twitter, to even less substantive critique.

Testosterone levels in the general male population are so woeful that we must laugh at man to avoid crying for him. I will not badmouth the elegance - the transcendent grace - of the chicken nugget, however. There’s a time and a place for that, and the answer is: never, and nowhere.

It’s solace because it is honest. Comfort, the feeling of being cared for, and the recitation of endless mantras and platitudes - they’re defense mechanisms, constructed for a world that’s under no obligation to care for us, of which we grow weary. There’s freedom in letting go of a lie.

If the customer refuses to purchase, you’re left with an opened item; non-issue in this instance, as product will move regardless. Still, it’s dictating use upon sale in order to control a second-hand market, over which you have no domain; no more ethical an outcome than scalping. Is price adjusted?

Upon purchase? As in, imposed upon a product where a transaction has already occurred? Receipt of sale is established - it’s private property. You’d have to open the product BEFORE sale, otherwise you could end up in civil court for tampering, or denying service on unprotected grounds.
