Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 07/06/2026I doubt coincidence. As you know, you can get a great deal of information from large scale data mining across different sources, and sending you an ad just in case it 'might' hit costs essentially nothing. 000
Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 16/05/2026(Continuing) That's dumb. The pitcher shouldn't be credited with a strikeOUT if there is no OUT. 000
Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 16/05/2026Huh. So - basically, it looks like strikeout and an out are not the same thing. If the catcher fails to catch strike three and first base is unoccupied, the batter can attempt to run to first. If they're safe, the pitcher is still credited with a strikeout, but no out is recorded. 100
Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 16/05/2026Wait - what? So, you can strike out, and then steal first? That makes no sense. As soon as you are out the play is (should be) over. If that's not the case then when - officially, by rule - is the play over? 000

Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 21/10/2025Adding to the bill, operating costs for these aircraft probably run around $8,500 per flight hour. It varies depending on how many hours a year you fly and other factors, but that's a reasonable ball park figure. The cost goes beyond the purchase price. 010

Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 15/04/2025Thanks! Good to have something to compare with. In this case I wanted to err on the tall side initially, since that's easier to fix - if needed I can just cut the bottom off to bring them down a little. (The finish is shellac which is easy to touch up in spots.) 000
Chris @chd-1.bsky.social · 15/04/2025Yeah the king and queen might be a little tall. I wanted them to be easily distinguished, but maybe it's a little much. Thanks!! 110
